I personally owe a tremendous debt of gratitude to the Network Marketing Industry because it was through Network Marketing that I first discovered my passion and love of Nutrition Advocacy more than 12 years ago. 

I have been a Nutrition Advocate, Researcher and Nutritional Consultant ever since and I know that a major part of my "calling" is to help bring improved, if not optimum nutrition and health to the masses. I think that this becomes very obvious when you study The Secret Wealth Network's System For Success. Creating Wealth for it's participants is only part of it's truly HUGE vision and mission.

Network Marketing or MLM has received an unjustly bad reputation and perception by many. In some cases, people have abused a good idea for their own selfish reasons, and in many cases, dishonest practices have perpetuated that bad reputation and perception. However, that was the fault of the individuals involved...and can't the same complaint be made for every business model in existence? 

Hmmm...a business model that has NEVER been affected by unethical deeds or had people who engaged in dishonest practices. Let me know when you can think of just ONE!

What is that old saying..."one bad apple does not spoil the whole barrel"?

The TRUE reality is that the basic concept behind Network Marketing is not only very sound, but it's actually quite brilliant, in my humble opinion. I would even go so far as to say that the Network Marketing concept is HIGHLY SPIRITUAL...in a non-religious or non-dogmatic way, of course! 

This is because the ONLY way that you can succeed in Network Marketing is by HELPING OTHERS to succeed. The more people you help to succeed, the more successful you become. It is IMPOSSIBLE to be a success of any kind in Network Marketing if you are only interested in insuring your own success. It's not all about "me" in Network Marketing...it's all about We! 

Network Marketing today is a $100+ billion business world-wide, (some $30 billion of it in the US alone). The Direct Selling Association, Direct Selling being another name for Network Marketing or MLM, estimates about $111 billion in sales in 2007 across it's 61 million direct sellers aka network marketers.

In the last decade, the direct selling/network marketing industry has grown by 90 percent and is expected to continue this phenomenal growth, as an estimated 300,000 people all over the world embark upon a career in network marketing every week.

Whether these new entrepreneurs are seeking to supplement their existing income or begin a new full-time career path, these new business owners know that Network Marketing offers life-changing opportunities.

Fortune Magazine has described direct selling/network marketing as "The best-kept secret of the buisness world...an industry with steady annual growth, healthy cash flows, high return on invested capital and long-term prospects for global expansion.

Stephen R. Covey, renowned author of the best selling book "The 7 Habits Of Highly Effective People", says, direct selling/network marketing helps affirm people's worth and potential. Covey says, "It is an entrepreneurial opportunity where people can use their talent and their passion toward a greater good."

All I can say to Covey's quote is...Amen!

• Also, Warren Buffet reportedly acquired 7 additional Network Marketing Companies in 2007 alone. 
• The World's 2 Largest Cosmetic Companies, Avon and Mary Kay Cosmetics, are Network Marketing Companies.
• One out of every six people in Japan participate in Network Marketing. (What do the Japanese know that we have failed to recognize in the U.S...until now!)
• Network Marketing is currently being taught at major universities, including Harvard University and the University of Illinois.
• Network Marketing is also currently being used by the following major corporations as part of their distribution methods: Sprint/MCI, AT&T, Citibank, Sun Micro Systems, IBM,..to name just a few!
• Forbes Magazine has reported that 79 Million Americans are projected to start their own businesses within the next 3 years. 
• More millionaires have been created in Network Marketing than in any other business model.

 In regard to Billionaire Warren Buffet, he is even quoted as saying of his acquisition of The Pampered Chef, "It's the best investment I've ever made." 

When Warren Buffet talks (or invests), others pay attention because he is well-known for sniffing out trends long before they manifest or getting in on the ground floor of an industry that he predicts will be outrageously profitable in the future. 

Is it any wonder why he now owns so many Network Marketing Companies?

Billionaire Richard Branson must have been listening to Mr. Buffet because Branson now also owns a Network Marketing Company!

Best Selling Author, Economist and Futurist Paul Zane Pilzer predicted in 2005, that within the next 10 years, the US economy will create 10 Million New Millionaires...and that the majority of them will be created in Network Marketing.

• The U.S. Department Of Labor estimates that today's learner will have 10 to 14 jobs by age 38?
• That, again, according to the U.S. Department Of Labor...1 out of 4 workers today is working for a company for whom they have been employed for less than 1 year?
• That, more than 1 out of 2 are working for a company for whom they have worked less than 5 years?
• That, according to former Secretary Of Education Richard Riley, the top 10 jobs that will be in demand in 2010 didn't exist in 2004?

(This means that we are currently preparing students for jobs that don't yet exist...using technologies that haven't yet been invented...in order to solve problems we don't even know are problems yet!)

• That Nintendo invested more than $140 million in research and development in 2002 alone?
• That the U.S. Federal Government spent less than half as much as Nintendo did on research and development on research and innovation in education during that same time period?
• That there are more school kids with a Genius IQ in China than there are school kids in the entire United States?
• That the amount of new technical information is doubling every 2 years. This means that for students starting a four year technical or college degree, half of what they learn in their first year of study will be OUTDATED by their third year of study?

I could go on...but I won't. Knowledge is POWER ladies and gentlemen! This is the way things REALLY are, the true reality of our situation...outside of the illusion!

In regard to Network Marketing, unlike the corporate and professional business world, (which is where the above statistics originate from), there is absolutely NO competition in Network Marketing. You actually want others to succeed because this only increases your success. 

There is NO ceiling of any kind...the sky is literally the limit. There is NO age, race, language, or any other  kind of discrimination or barrier in Network Marketing. There is absolutely NO back stabbing, office politics, infighting, or "brown nosing" in Network Marketing. None of the usual pitfalls and problems involved in working a traditional 9 to 5 job or career exists in Network Marketing.

Network Marketing is truly the "people helping people" business and this is why I so clearly see and appreciate it's innate spirituality. I have been drawn to study the Network Marketing concept for the last 17 years and the innate spirituality of this very unique business model has always profoundly struck me. 

It's fun and it's the ONLY business in the world that I know of where you can go out and help people get what they want...and actually change their lives for the better...and in the process, get all that you have ever dreamed of. 

This is Service at it's best and most meaningful. We have lived in a society that pretty much preached the gospel of "looking out for number one". You see it on such a wide spread level that this has become a measure for success in many cases. People were taught that destroying the "so called" competition is the mark of a true business leader. 

I look at the HUGE disparity in incomes between the corporate team and CEOs and the employees who are the most important link in making any business profitable. I look at companies closing their doors or being taken over or eaten up by larger corporate entities/conglomerates and the employees being left out in the freezing cold while the CEOs are given tens of millions of dollars in bail out money, while the employees receive virtually nothing...only a pink slip. 

I could go on and on. I am very happy to say that all future indications are that this line of thinking and doing business is fading fast, even if it still "seems" like it's not. The point that I am also trying to make is that NONE of this could ever happen in Network Marketing! 

The old saying goes,"It's lonely at the top". That's only true when you have to step on other people to get there. If you reach the top by helping others in Network Marketing, it won't be lonely since you will have so many of your friends and associates with you along for the exciting ride!  

How cool is that?

With Network Marketing, you can now have the benefits of a traditional business, but without the headaches. It is easy to get started and does not require a major investment. You can begin by receiving a secondary income without quitting your job, (yet), if you want. There are no special skills required and most Network Marketing businesses are very duplicable. It's an income opportunity with a very low risk and can have an extremely high potential return. 

You are also in business for yourself, meaning that you are your own boss! You have time freedom. YOU decide what hours you want to work, not a boss or supervisor. Because you will most likely work your business from the comfort of your home, (a home based business), you will have the ultimate tax shelter. I could go on and on about the many REAL benefits of starting and working your own Network Marketing business.

Here are two excellent quotes from Social Entrepreneur, Best Selling Author, Visionary and author of the new best selling book "Tribes", Seth Godin, which perfectly describes the power of what Godin calls "Tribes", which is another name for Networks. Tribes and Networks are most definitely the wave of the future. They are the "New Paradigm".

Many people get involved with Network Marketing Opportunities, some jumping from one opportunity to another, because they have making money as their SOLE motivation or because they have financial problems. They get themselves into a financial "rut" and then go looking for a business opportunity to "solve" their problems. Needless to say, these people are not very successful Network Marketers.

What these well intentioned people fail to realize is that going into ANY business, network marketing or otherwise, with any sense of desperation, fear, or a "lack or scarcity based mindset", will only MAGNIFY their original problem, not solve it, and ensure failure in any business opportunity they participate in. 

You simply cannot solve a problem with the same thinking, mindset, consciousness or vibration which created the problem in the first place. You MUSTchange, evolve, transcend your present mindset and consciousness to enable you to think differently, more positively and more creatively. To think more expansively!  

A phrase that I came across recently states,"If you want to earn more, you have to learn more." This is the KEY to becoming more aware, thinking differently, more expansively, and it's a MAJOR reason for what this website is all about, why it was created. It was created in large part to give you as many tools as possible to learn, expand, evolve, transform, heal, change....to grow! 

Money or financial difficulties should not be your SOLE motivating factor. Of course, we all want to earn money, to be prosperous, to get out of debt, to end money concerns once and for all. We all want abundance and this is nothing to be ashamed of because abundance is our Divine Birthright.

This can most definitely happen with The Secret Wealth Network if you keep the following objective in mind. According to Robert Kiyosaki, author and creator of the "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" enterprise, the two main reasons to join and succeed in The Secret Wealth Network or any other Network Marketing business are as follows:

• Reason #1 - is to help yourself.
• Reason #2 - is to help others.

According to Kiyosaki, if you join for only one of these two reasons, then the system will not work for you. I totally agree!

Reason number one means that you come to The Secret Wealth Network primarily to FREE AND LIBERATE YOURSELF from the severe limitations of being just a 9 - 5 employee or a traditional small business owner/professional, and to expand and evolve in the process.

Reason number two means that you come to The Secret Wealth Network primarily to help others to do the same thing. These two reasons are both equal and it is in this realization that your success in The Secret Wealth Network, or any other Network Marketing vehicle, will be virtually guaranteed!

Creating wealth is not about only creating financial wealth. It is about creating wealth in every aspect of your life. It's about creating wealth in your health, relationships, family, spirituality, philanthropy...every aspect of your life. 

One of the most powerful laws in the Universe states that "you cannot give away what you don't own." You can't give away money if you don't have money, you can't truly love someone if you don't love yourself, you can't truly care for someone if you don't care for yourself...I could go on and on. 

The point is that it all begins with YOU, the individual, and then expands out to include your family, loved ones, friends, and, eventually the rest of the world. So, in actuality, only in beginning with yourself, "the man or woman in the mirror", (thank you Michael Jackson!), can you truly help and benefit others. By the way, this can all be done simultaneously!

This is the most amazing time in our history and let no one even try to convince you of anything less.  As a matter of fact, if anyone tells you that it is anything less, take a close look at the world and life that this particular person lives in and honestly ask yourself, "Is that the life and reality that I choose to live in also?" Whatever way you answer that question..it's your choice to make!

We are now learning to truly understand how to be Conscious Creators to enable us to direct our physical selves toward obtaining what we truly desire in life. That is what "The Secret" is all about. Since it's massive success, there has been a great deal of controversy about the message of "The Secret" and whether it is too materialistic. Some critics incredibly claim that "The Secret" "lacks spirituality". 

All of a sudden these self identified "experts" are coming out of the woodwork to offer their various critiques as to what they see as the "problem" with The Secret instead of coming from a space of gratitude and appreciation that humanity is FINALLY being given an important tool, knowledge of the Law Of Attraction, which can help to increase their awareness of their infinite ability to create the life that they truly want, while simultaneously taking full responsibility for their lives.

These critics don't realize that they become "the problem" with their complaints and critiques, instead of positively and constructively using The Secret as a springboard to help to empower humanity all the more. In short, if you are not empowering beyond your critiques, YOU are the problem...because Empowerment is the key! 

Even if you do believe that you offer "a better way", and then courageously move to bring that better way forward, would that better way have been even thought of or envisioned without the advent of "The Secret?"Anyway you look at it, "The Secret" has been a catalyst in one way or another...even for the critics! 

Of course, in truth, there really is no "problem" with "The Secret". It's true that this ancient wisdom was not a "secret" to some, but it most definitely was a secret to the masses...until now! For that reason alone, there should only be immense Gratitude for The Secret, Gratitude, by the way, being a trait that The Secret emphasizes greatly, which critics and haters seem to totally ignore or forget.   

Also, the fact that there is obviously no true understanding of the tremendously "bigger picture" in regard to the overall pupose and mission of "The Secret" for humanity, amongst these critics and also the very real need to come from a space that is not too far above the heads of the masses and their budding yet still developing consciousnesses...is also pretty telling of the critics, in my humble opinion. 

Regardless of the critics and haters, the MAIN fact is that The Secret has resonated all around the world and created the beginning awareness among tens of millions of people worldwide that they are truly Creators of their own reality. 

It has planted the seed for anyone and everyone to choose to consciously tap into the Universal Energy to create the lives they dream of for those who are completely new to this amazing truth. In other words, it fulfilled it's critical and vital mission.     

Rhonda Byrne, the creator and producer of The Secret, and everyone else involved with it's creation has done humanity a HUGE service beyond our present imagination. The Secret provided the opening that humanity desperately needed and it came at a very critical point in time. The Secret has also been the catalyst for me and thousands of other "change agents" to take the ball and run with these principles in service to all mankind, which is what The Secret Wealth Network is all about.  

I ask you...what could be more Spiritual than that???

The question now becomes...what are YOU going to do with this wisdom that you have been given? 

Do you become a Conscious Creator for the good of yourself, your family and possibly the world....or is it just "business as usual", remaining "as is" static and unaware?

It's your choice and make no mistake, whatever shows up in your life is a consequence of that choice, as has always been the case. The only difference now is that you have an awareness that it's your choice...unless of course you choose to live in denial!

The good news is that because of the gift of "free will", whatever choice we make is perfect because we are all sovereign beings, responsible only to ourselves.

How cool is that?

I would like to end this writing with a relevant quote from Spiritual Teacher Steven Sadlier:

"Rather than trying to make money, our goal as individuals and businesses should be to make a difference. If we can make a real contribution, that contribution is valued and we become valued and money comes. This is the key to the Law of Attraction: it’s not trying to get what you want, but helping others with what THEY need or want. If we only seek to benefit ourselves, or a select few, then we miss the greater value of making a difference. Making a difference, making a contribution to other’s lives, is what life is all about; and it’s good for business too. We find greater purpose and meaning when we make a contribution. Just making money will not fulfill you, making a difference will.

If we really do care and want to make a difference, then we think green, we think sustainable, renewable and what is in the best interest of others including the generations to come. To seek to make money and not account for the costs in terms of its long term affects on our society, our natural resources, and our environment is a short term gain (financial) at a long term cost, which is bad for business and our society. To improve the world we must first intend to. As we think prosperity, happiness and peace, we create it. The world around you is a reflection of your state of consciousness. When you care about the welfare of your employees, they provide greater productivity and loyalty to your company. When you care about your customers, they support your business. This has been tested again and again and proven to be true. Think in terms of what you can do for others and watch your business grow... and your heart; profit as a prophet."

All I can add to Steven Sadlier's "on point" quote is...Amen!

In addition to Economist and Best Selling Author Paul Zane Pilzer, the legendary Fortune Magazine has also predicted that between 2006 and 2016, 10 million Americans will become millionaires. The magazine also predicts, "Many will be from the industry of direct selling/network marketing."

Everything mentioned above just goes to highlight my belief in the inherent Spirituality of Network Marketing as the perfect business model, and it's tremendous potential, (and I believe, it's true divine purpose), to be a tremendous force for good in this world at this very critical time in human history.

Daily Spiritual Practice: The Foundation For Your Breakthrough To Personal And Professional Development

If this seems like a strange place to begin, you may be wondering what this has to do with our topic of success and life mastery.

Daily spiritual practice is the foundation everything else builds upon to create an abundant life.

In studying the professional development of many of the wealthiest and most empowered millionaires, I found the majority of them start their day with an hour of spiritually oriented reading and meditation. Yes, I said an hour.

It seems like a lot of time for a busy successful person, but the consensus of the truly successful is that taking this time is what sets the tone for the day and gives them the energy they need for an incredibly busy life.

By the way, they also tend to go to bed later and get up earlier than the rest of the population.

How different would your life be a year from now if you added 365 more hours of positively invested time to your year?

If you normally work a 40-hour week, you’ve just added the equivalent of nine weeks to your year, devoted totally to your personal and professional development. And you thought you didn’t have time for personal growth or professional development in your life!

Let me explain what I, as a personal development mentor, term an empowered millionaire. They are different from other millionaires whose main focus may be on accumulating money. Empowered millionaires are what I consider to be truly successful people.

Empowered millionaires have a life purpose that serves others. This purpose is bigger than they are. Oprah is a great example of an empowered millionaire, as is Bill Gates.

Both of these incredibly wealthy people could be living a life of luxury, hording all their money and never working another day in their lives. Yet they are working overtime as philanthropists, helping to make the world a better place.

They go above and beyond simply writing a fat check to a cause, although I appreciate all the people who do that as well. My point is, that despite their busy schedules, they research and travel and work personally to improve the lives of as many people as possible.

That, to me, makes both Bill Gates and Oprah great examples of empowered, spiritually motivated super successful people.

Through their service to the world, spiritually based successful people have become wealthy beyond their wildest dreams. These multi-millionaires and billionaires work harder than most people I know, when they really don’t need to work at all.

Think about all the other examples of people you know who demonstrate their spirituality by freely sharing their knowledge, their money, or both with the world to make it a better place for everyone.  These are the people who are truly making a difference in the world.

We all owe them a debt of gratitude for their willingness to come forward and lead. They make things happen not just for profit, but because it’s the right thing to do. The energy to take on the work they do comes from the foundation of their daily spiritual practice.

Would you like to be incredibly wealthy, full of energy and purpose, living a life that makes you outrageously happy?

Would it be worth getting up a little earlier or missing the first half hour of the news in the morning?

As you implement daily spiritual practice, you will learn that it is the foundation to your personal growth, your professional development and your abundant life!
