Although the concept of Human Design is still very new to me, once I had my own chart done and learned my "type" so many puzzle pieces clicked into place for me in regard to who I am, why I am the way that I am, why I feel the way that I feel, etc. 

I consider this new and evolutionary system to be an extremely beneficial and very timely tool, particularly in the New Consciousness that is currently evolving when so many people are awakening and trying to figure out exactly what their role on this New Earth is. 

Having your Human Design Chart generated and learning about your own Human Design type can help you tremendously in your search for answers about that unique and complex individual called - You!   

What is just as important, in my opinion, is Human Design, just like astrology, numerology and other esoteric divination tools before it, pretty much confirms that we are all as unique as a snow flake. It shows that you cannot judge another person based on your own way of being because everybody is unique and different. 

This even includes a member of your family or your own child. We are all individualized expressions of the Universe...different and highly individual and unique...yet all connected! 

We all came here with a unique purpose to fulfill and it is our life's mission to discover and live that unique purpose. No one can discover that for us but ourselves. Others can help us and direct us but ultimately we are the only ones who really know.

How do you know? That's easy...just follow your soul's call, follow your heart!

As we live through increasingly complex times with an ever expanding multiplicity of demands upon our time, energy and resources, a quiet revolution is evolving among the people of planet earth. We want our lives back. In the confusion and disappointment of modern life, millions have sought answers through various self-help processes and esoteric systems, and we have found answers, often significant ones that have really helped us to better understand and accept our lives, but we have not yet unlocked the key to complete inner freedom and joy.

In 1987, a new esoteric system was revealed, and it has quietly been evolving to become a catalyst for revealing the truth of our being and our lives in remarkable detail. This is the Human Design System, and it is here to help guide us to our own inner truth in the new millennium.

The many ancient esoteric systems that have served us in the past, including the I-Ching, Numerology, Tarot, Astrology, and Palmistry have been, and continue to be, a wonderful resource in revealing “what is.”

They describe, often with great accuracy, our personality makeup, our strengths, talents, challenges, and potentials for development. They also reveal future trends, and if read correctly by an experienced and intuitive reader, can help to point the way to achieve more successful outcomes. This is different for each of us, for some our truth is revealed instantaneously and spontaneously, for others it comes only from direct response, for others, it is accessed through deep attunement to the feeling body, and for others it comes over time as various aspects are revealed through the environment.

Unlike any of the previous esoteric systems, a Human Design reading illustrates another dimension of our being: the unconscious. For the first time in recorded history, we have a tool that reveals not only our conscious personality and inner guidance system, but also the inherited traits, or “karma” that have come thorough several generations down our genetic lines. A Human Design Chart Reading gives us a few other key pieces of information that help us to live more congruently in touch with our inner self, to create relationships that are deeply satisfying, to stay physically and mentally healthy, and to consistently make choices that bring us great fulfillment. Some of these are: An understanding of our “Type.”

Are you a Generator, Reflector, Manifestor, Projector, or Manifesting Generator? Each type has its own unique way of moving through life, and plays its own unique part in the ongoing creative dance of life on Earth. Embracing our “Incarnation Theme,” which is an aspect of Design that reveals your life purpose, often feels like coming home after a long, extended time away.

Many clients are brought to tears of joy and relief when they hear their theme revealed, because it is something they have known deep within their hearts, yet perhaps have never acknowledged. There are 112 Incarnation Themes, and each one describes a unique way of expressing your Higher Self in this world.One's Profile is another aspect of Design that gives us our individual perspective in life, and knowing this is very useful in navigating our relationships and interactions in the world. There are 12 Profiles in Human Design.

The Human Design System gives us a holographic view of our makeup that is rendered into a graphic display which includes the nine (not seven) chakras, or “Centers” as they are called in Design terms, and shows us which of those Centers are defined (colored in) or undefined.

Briefly, defined Centers give us access to a particular dimension of our being on a consistent, reliable basis, whereas undefined centers turn on and off according to the company we keep.

It is enormously useful and empowering to be aware of which centers you have defined, and which undefined, as this information lights the way to greater fulfillment in all that one expresses and experiences in life.

This knowledge alone can make the difference between having harmonious, loving interactions in personal relationships and effective, empowering relationships in business, or suffering through endless rounds of misunderstanding with the people we care about most. For those with children, it is like having a “Users Manual” to raising a healthy, confident child.

Human Design has been described as “the first Aquarian System,” referring to the Aquarian Age that humanity is now entering, and which will be our collective experience for the coming approximately 2300 years. Aquarius, at its best, is the Age of Brotherhood/Sisterhood, a time when humanity comes of age and takes responsibility for creating our own destiny and bringing conscious stewardship to planet Earth. Attuning to the truth of our being and purpose is the greatest gift we can give the world, and the generations to come.

The Four Basic Types of Human Beings...

Each and every one of us is unique and the most important aspect of our human design is our uniqueness. Our personal Human Design chart shows us what forces make us unique and different from every other person and tells us how special we really are.

All human beings share the same basic genetic code and yet we are all unique, special and different. In the Human Design System, the four expressions of our genetic code manifest through our personal chemistry as four basic and distinct types of human beings: Manifestors, Generators, Projectors and Reflectors.

We are one of four possible genetic types and our type determines how we ideally enter into and deal with any situation. no matter how simple or complicated. Human Design typology has been scientifically verified by detailed human behavior studies and statistical analysis. Each of the four types below operates according to a set of very simple natural laws…
Strategy

One of these four types of human beings is in our DNA and determine our true nature. The type is the very uniqueness of our individual chemistry. Of the infinite possibilities that reside within our genetic material, Human Design shows us there are really only four basic types of human being. Of course, within these four types there are billions of differences, since each of us is a unique, separate and distinct being. Our uniqueness lies in differentiation.

A vital strategy corresponds to each of the four basic types. The strategy of each type determines the ideal way to enter into and deal with any situation that arises, new or old. Each type has a unique strategy for living our life and making correct decisions. Follow your strategy.

Authority

If you come into the world as a Manifestor, you are here to “initiate”. The Manifestor is the only one of the four types that is designed to initiate. The other three types are not initiators and they can become very frustrated and bitter from the resistance they meet when they do initiate.

Manifestors are rare beings. They make up only 8% of the population. One of the things Human Design reveals to us is how we humans can operate in the world with as little resistance as possible. It shows us how we can align our energy (our design) with the environment. It shows us the different types of people and their roles in life, and how each type is designed to operate correctly with little ‘resistance’.

Manifestors are very powerful beings and they are usually unaware of their power. Each decision they make has an impact or consequence which affects the people in their life. Most Manifestors are unaware of the impact they have on others so when they go through life just doing their thing without considering how they impact others they are usually met with resistance. It is the powerful Manifesting aura people sense in Manifestors that causes them to feel the need to control the Manifestor, and this creates resistance in the life of the Manifestor.

When a Manifestor is confronted with resistance they become angry. They do not like dealing with resistance. They do not like someone questioning them or controlling them. Manifestors have an aura of being able to go through life without the need of others. And, in a way, it’s true. They don’t ‘need’ the other in terms of creating what they want to create because they are the one type that is designed to initiate, designed to create.

However, it’s because of this aura that people try to stop and control Manifestors. To other people the Manifestor seems out of control. This theme of being controlled begins in childhood. From the start, the parents are aware that they have a child that can and will do what ever he wants. This creates the dynamic of the parents controlling the child.

If you have a Manifestor child the best thing to do is to teach her/him to be polite and ask permission before going off to do what she wants and explain that by asking permission she will avoid getting into trouble.

Unfortunately most Manifestors have been so controlled in their lives that they are not living up to their fullest potential. They have been so beaten down by control that they are out of touch with their own power and have become either very passive or very angry people.

Each Type has a Strategy. The Strategy for a Manifestor is to Inform. Once a Manifestor has made a decision, he needs to settle in and consider all the people that will be impacted by his decision. Before he takes action toward his new decision, he needs to inform those that will be impacted. If he does not then he is setting himself up for resistance. If he informs he will meet far less resistance. It does not mean people will like his decision but fewer people will be concerned with trying to control him.

Another Take On Manifestors...

"Manifestors, particularly those who are empowered from the heart center, are designed to push things "to make them happen". Too much of our lives can be spent on "doing" rather than "being" leaving us continuously occupied but wondering if there is any purpose to our life at all."Purpose" comes through relating with our "being". 

The Manifestor is one of those rare beings who are designed "to do" and necessarily, as a Manifestor, has an enormous responsibility to "do" appropriately, in accordance with their inner intelligence and intuitive guidance."

"As a Manifestor, you are one of only 8% of the population. Your type has been the ruling class throughout history because of your ability to get things done and gain power as a result of your ability to act. Where most of society is designed to wait, you are designed to act. This is your gift - to be able to act independently without waiting. 

Because of your ability to immediately act on your words, other people want to be like you. Manifestors are the only type whose strategy is not rooted in response. Manifestors are here to start things, initiate, create...and then get out and move on to the next thing. 

A Manifestor does not have a sacral center, so the Manifestor does not have sustainable work energy for the long haul. Manifestors get into a creative groove and tend to not ask for help. Manifestors usually don't delegate...they Just Do It! 

Manifestors are designed specifically not to be controlled by others. They can be wild and unpredictable, but are full of genius. Manifestors are pure energy beings and extremely powerful, but they have to use their power carefully, since they impact so many people. 

(To give an example of the importance of this, George W. Bush is a Manifestor Type). Manifestors are vital in giving the other types things to respond to. If the Manifestor lives his/her design well, the Manifestor will be remembered and revered for who they are - simple, powerful, untamable and freedom loving." 

Key Question for Manifestor - Who do I impact? 

From Human Design Expert Kim Gould:

"Manifestors don't have to wait around to express or manifest what they want. They are the classic "Just Do It" types. And not "Just Do It" when the time's right. That's the Generator. Manifestors can "Just Do It" any old time they like. And it works for them. The tricky part for Manifestors is to keep on doing what they do so well. 

The rest of us love to tell Manifestors that they can't do it, (and we really believe that, because we can't!), and after a while, the Manifestor begins to believe us, doubt their abilities and stop Manifesting. Which is pretty sad, because WE need them to get out there and "Just Do It".

The Four Types   

Manifestors are people of action. Of the four human types these are the only people who are specifically designed to act without waiting. The fact that there are so few people who are designed to act is often a shock to people who are introduced to their true design. The capacity to manifest and act is something we take for granted in our society.

The irony is that although a vast part of our "conditioning" is telling us all to be manifestors, less than 10 per cent of us actually are manifestors. The manifestor is by nature a lone wolf. Because they can act independently of other people, they are not designed to be controlled by society in any way. They are regarded as dangerous and unpredictable.

The strategy that manifestors must learn is to inform before they act. For example, if you are a manifestor attending a dinner party and you have something valuable to say, your natural tendency will be to simply jump right in and say it. If you do so, you will soon discover that you are either not heard or resisted.

We are experiencing living biogenetic strategies that are felt across rooms. If the manifestor simply asks politely before they speak, they immediately put those around them at ease. They can say something like "would you like to hear my opinion, story, idea, etc." or "I have something I'd like to say about this". Using this strategy eliminates any resistance. While maintaining their wildness, Manifestors need to learn humility. Then they can live deeply fulfilling and powerful lives.       

Projectors  

Projectors can do the jobs that no one else in the world can do, and if you call on them they can really deliver the goods. Projectors are the first of the two non-energy types.

This, of course, does not mean that they have no energy. In fact, they have access to more energy than almost anyone else, but first they have to be recognized. The projector is waiting for 'investors' to recognize their specific talents and skills, whatever they may be.

Projectors are natural net workers, whose gift is to manage the energy of other people. For example, a projector who is a healer will be much more successful if they accept only the people who recognize their gift beforehand. Since their personal fulfillment depends on having the right people in their life, projectors have a natural gift for reading the people around them. Projectors have an extremely deep need to be seen.

The projector sitting at the dinner party with a group of strangers has to trust in the power of their own chemistry. Their silence will always draw the invitation of the person or people who recognize them. That is how they know who is right for them. They have to be patient. If they jump into the conversation like a manifestor they can end up feeling deeply drained by wasting their energy on people who do not understand them.

 When the projector trusts in the silent magic of their chemistry, many incredible opportunities begin to come their way. Their skill is to direct the energy of the Manifestors and Generators. 

Generators   

If you want to see a truly powerful human being at work, you have only to watch a generator living out their true nature in the world. Generators are pure energy beings, but unlike manifestors they are not designed to initiate action.

Generators are designed to respond to life and thus they have a design to wait. Patience is the great key for generators. Statistically, generators make up over 65 per cent of the population. The great theme of all generators is frustration.

Being a generator is akin to sitting in an idling Ferrari. They have to wait until the gear-change is brought to them. Generators never know what is right for them unless they have first waited to respond, for their chemistry is designed to attract forces and people that initiate them and ask them.

However, generators rarely manage to live out their true potential. Feeling stuck is a natural part of their process and needs to be understood as such. The generator who finds the patience to wait out their process is always deeply rewarded.

Generators need to learn to trust in the power of waiting. They are potentially the most powerful of all the four types, but for them action must first arise out of receptivity.

Reflectors

Reflectors are statistically by far the rarest of the four types, comprising only 1% of the population. They have nothing fixed in their nature at all. In Human Design, the white or undefined centers in a chart are where we are open and vulnerable to the conditioning of others.

Because of this the undefined centers represent the areas of our life where we can be the most confused and, paradoxically, where we can be the most wise. Because reflectors are so open and unfixed in their nature, they often look for the stability of someone else's chemistry in their life.

More often than not, this role is most comfortably filled for them by the presence of children, who provide an innocent aura around them. They also have a deep need to regularly have time away from people in order to clear the space within themselves. Reflectors are also unusual in another way. The openness of their design gives them a deep affinity with the moon.

Since the moon moves around the entire Human Design Wheel once every month, it also opens up a regular pattern of energy in our chemistry each month. This is where reflectors can find stability. In other words, reflectors have regular cycles each month where they can live out all the other three energy types.

 For example, they may have three days in every month when they are a manifestor, then when they are a generator, and so on. They operate according to different laws. They are perhaps the most limited and at the same time the most unlimited people among us, and their perspective is truly unique.

 *For example, Pop Star Michael Jackson was a Reflector...which explains a great deal about him which would hopefully help us to view his overall life a little more compassionately.
