The Power Of The Master Mind

The concept of the Master Mind Alliance  was coined and  introduced by Napoleon Hill in the early 1900's.  In his timeless classic, "Think and Grow Rich",  he wrote about the Master Mind principle as:

"The coordination of knowledge and effort of two or more people, who work toward a definite purpose, in the spirit of harmony."

Mr.  Hill states that there are only two known substances in the whole universe - energy and matter.  The human mind is a form of energy, a part of it being spiritual in nature.  When the minds of two or more people are coordinated in a spirit of HARMONY, the spiritual units of energy of each mind form an affinity which constitutes the thought energy phase of the Master Mind...the "Third Mind", from the two or more people involved.

The principle is based on the premise that the combined energies of two or more like-minded individuals are many times greater than the sum of the individual and separate energies of each person involved.

More specifically, the Master Mind Concept is based on the ancient principle that states:  "When two or more people coordinate in a spirit of harmony and help each other work toward a definite objective or purpose, they absorb and magnify each others creative powers and results."

Napoleon Hill believed that a group of like-minded, achievement oriented individuals could dramatically LEVERAGE each other's success.  Since Hill first introduced the concept many decades ago, the Master Mind concept has proven itself over time as a valuable resource for people of every profession.  This form of "cooperative alliance" has been the basis of nearly every great fortune.

There is a synergy of energy, commitment, and excitement that participants bring to a Master Mind Group.  The beauty of Master Mind Groups is that participants "raise the bar" by challenging each other to stick to their goals, brainstorm ideas, and support each other with total honesty, encouragement, respect and compassion.  The participants act as "catalysts for growth" and also as supportive colleagues. 

In a Master Mind Group, the agenda belongs to the Group, and each person's participation is KEY. Your peers give you feedback, help you brainstorm new possibilities, and set up accountability structures that keep you focused and on track.  You will create a community of supportive colleagues who will brainstorm together to move the group to new heights. 

The "WIN - WIN" attitude is also key to a successful Master Mind Group.  If I help you win,...I win too!   The Master Mind principles also teach that other like-minded individuals can BELIEVE for you, and accept as true for you, things you may find difficult to conceive and believe for yourself.  The Group provides accountability and support to assist you in moving forward.  Master Mind Groups also share the basic philosophy that MORE can be accomplished in LESS time by working TOGETHER.

*When I read the chapter in Think and Grow Rich which spoke about the Master Mind concept, I got to thinking about the physics of Resonance.  When two objects "resonate"  they are vibrating at the same frequency and in their combined vibration, the energy they produce together GROWS in amplitude or power...pretty much like a tuning fork.  Thus, two objects (or people) in "resonance" produce a MORE POWERFUL energy together than they would individually.  The combined energy is EXPONENTIALLY STRONGER and MORE POWERFUL.  

Therefore, when a Master Mind Group is formed, the goal is to create "resonate thinking" so that the energy created by the Group becomes exponentially more powerful for the individuals involved, towards a definite purpose or goal.  So...a truly effective and powerful Master Mind Group MUST be in harmony and have a definite purpose as a Group.  They are bonded together to work on a common objective.  They inspire each other, prod, and joint venture each member to a level of accomplishment they could never achieve individually. 

As a Group, the possibilities for expansive thinking are ENDLESS!

Napoleon Hill's extensive interviews with over 500 entrepreneurial, political, and philosophical giants of his day revealed that powerhouses like Dale Carnegie, Henry Ford, Franklin D. MASTERMINDING
– SPIRITUALLY GROWING YOUR BUSINESS EXPONENTIALLY!

 A group of network marketers gather for coffee after the meeting. They have come together for connection, and hope. Whether or not they realize it, they are longing for spiritual assistance and the answers to radical new desires: Work less, make more money. Replace massive action with massive attraction. Have people calling you asking to enroll them in your business! Carnegie told Hill that his wealth and success was due entirely to the MasterMind process. He explains that no individual may have great power without availing himself of the "Master Mind."

MasterMinding is based on the ancient premise that the combined energies of two or more like-minded persons is many, many times greater than the sum of the individual energies involved. The MasterMind Principle states:

"When two or more people coordinate in a spirit of harmony and work toward a definite objective or purpose, they place themselves in position, through that alliance, to absorb power directly from the great storehouse of Infinite Intelligence coming through the creative mechanism of each contributing mind."

There was a study conducted in which they measured how much weight two oxen could pull. They put the yoke on the first ox and measured the amount of weight he could pull, and then they did the same with the second ox. Finally they yoked the two oxen together, and they found that together, they could pull much more than the sum of what each could pull alone.

The key to MasterMinding is getting in touch with what you really desire, making a decision about it, and then seeking the agreement of your partner(s) in "seeing" or visualizing it, and requesting spiritual assistance in bringing it about.

Many people have come to know and use the MasterMind Principle for goal setting, accountability, and for getting ideas and advice from selected partners. But most are totally missing out on what MasterMinding can really do to bring them a rich and rewarding spiritually oriented life.
