But something made me dig just a little deeper. 

When I did dig deeper, I realized that it all REALLY began with one simple word: Curiosity. I am just a very, very curious person. I wonder about the oddest, out there, and most complex things. I never take anything at face value and I am highly suspicious of "consensus". 

I ask lots and lots of questions, I am an avid researcher, but equally important, I LISTEN. One of my best qualities is I am a very, very good listener.

I once heard a Spiritual Teacher I know state the following...

"Curiosity is just selfishness!" 

Needless to say, I strongly disagree with this opinion and I think this illustrates the need to ALWAYS be discerning about what you receive from others, including people whom you may consider to be an "authority." 

It's important to really trust your own inner compass, even if you greatly respect and care for the authority and particularly if your absolute highest potential is your ultimate goal. 

I was really gratified to hear President Obama champion the virtue of Curiosity as being one of the intrinsic values of our democracy which is "old and true" in his inaugural address. 

"The life which is unexamined is not worth living."

From my perspective, you can't break the bonds of a "perceived" reality and go on to do the impossible; or go beyond any "seeming" limitations without first embracing Curiosity. Being curious is the ONLY way to discover how what you "thought" was impossible is in reality possible.

Of course, this also means that you must go outside of your "comfort zone" aka the circle of people who you mostly hang out with and who mostly agree with or think like you. I have noticed that there has been much attention and focus by many in regard to surrounding themselves with only "like minded" people. This, of course, may have it's own value, but I personally can't think of anything more boring!

It's wonderful if you are surrounded by people who are in alignment with your heart, vision and views in life. For most people, it may be indeed be best to consciously ensure that this happens to more easily advance in the life direction you wish to advance in.

The GOOD news is that when you are in alignment with your own life's mission and purpose, you will eventually begin to effortlessly attract others who are also in alignment with you. It may not happen overnight, but it will inevitably happen. You won't really have to even think about it.

It's only when you are NOT in alignment with your life's destiny and purpose that you attract all that is negative or all that is not in alignment with your desires and, believe it or not, this is actually GOOD news also, because it's the Universe's way of alerting you that something is "off" or that you are not on the right track or that you are out of alignment with your own core values. 

But if you consciously and deliberately choose to surround yourself with people who ONLY think like you or who are ONLY in agreement with you and your views, you are inevitably imposing severe limitations on yourself and your own evolution and growth. You may also be unknowingly engaging in judgement of whomever you are labeling not "like-minded" which is also never a good thing. 

Don't judge a book by it's cover!

And finally, it also may be a sign of over sensitivity, or maybe even ego domination, if you feel that you can't tolerate or handle being around people who may have a different perspective or a different point of view than you...and who may even disagree with, challenge or debate you. 

Perish the thought!  

My personal advice is that you honestly ask yourself what is your TRUE motivation in ONLY surrounding yourself with people who are "like-minded" or who are only in agreement with you and your point of view. 

The reason for this is because you just may be preventing your own overall evolution and growth in the process by staying stuck and static, or by inhibiting or refusing to see a "bigger picture" because of the self-imposed limits of surrounding yourself with only one "like-minded" point of view. 

If your views and convictions mean that much to you, you should have no problems or qualms about respectfully and cordially defending or debating them, while at the same time respecting others who may differ or see things differently. Who knows, you may even learn something new!

Also, I personally just tend to find EVERYONE interesting and valuable, even if they don't think like me or share my views, so I have no restrictions nor make any conscious effort to ONLY surround myself with a certain type of individual. 

I just figure that everyone has a purpose for showing up in my life, and it's for my ultimate good, even when it feels the total opposite. I try my best to view everyone as a gift with something to teach me.  It's sometimes a huge challenge but it is a goal which I have set for myself. Whether I meet the goal everytime is another story!

I figure that if someone shows up in my life who challenges my point of view or causes me any type of discomfort or self-reflection, although maybe not immediately, I try to see and learn the ultimate good in it, which, if I can, was it's ultimate purpose.

For this reason, I actually welcome having my present views and perceptions challenged. This peaks my Curiosity, and is something I also find very stimulating. It revs up and ignites my passion! It also reminds me of exactly what I stand for. In regard to curiosity, you really can't do the impossible based on facts or perceptions already known or embraced.

This is because it is your present interpretation of the facts or your current perceptions which is why you are labeling whatever the situation is "impossible" in the first place.

In order for your perception of the "impossibility" of it all to change, you have to venture into the unknown which is where Curiosity comes into play. Remember, curiosity is all about making the unknown, known.

Curiosity helps to make the unseen visible to the eye of the beholder. Curiosity keeps you progressing, evolving and moving forward. For all of these reasons, you could not have new innovation and creation without first embracing Curiosity.

And, guess which pill I would have chosen? Embracing Curiosity has not been for everyone. It's not comfortable for some. It kind of makes the "comfort zone" not so comfortable or upsets the apple cart, so to speak. I know because I use to live there. 

Conformity has been more the rule, at least in the Old Paradigm, but if you were to really think about it, those who DO embrace their Curiosity, are the ones who make life a whole lot easier for the rest of us. I mean, think about it...

Where would we be if two brothers had not been "curious" enough to experiment with their "flying machine" which enabled them to invent the airplane? 

What about the person who was "curious" enough to find a way for us to speak with individuals many miles away via a simple hand held device called the telephone? 

To take it a step further, how about the person who was "curious" enough to expand on that first person's telephone invention to now offer us a way to speak to people from ANY location via the cell phone? 

What about the person who was "curious" enough to see if a document could be sent from as far away as from Los Angeles to Hong Kong in mere seconds, which paved the way for the fax machine? 

Or the person who was "curious" enough to "fail" more than a thousand times before creating indoor illumination for all via the light bulb?  

I could go on and on throughout human history. What's even more incredible to me is that many of the legions of "curious" individuals behind our world's most incredible innovative breakthroughs, created their amazing innovations and inventions in an atmosphere and at a time when most of their peers and contemporaries thought they were completely nuts! Some were even committed to insane asylums for their "crazy" ideas! Yet...they perservered and who are the beneficiaries? We are!

And I'll admit, I am all about "winning the game." There really is no other option for me. I have always instinctively known that "there is more than meets the eye," in regard to this complicated yet very interesting game that we are all participating in called "Life" and my constant preoccupation since as early as I can remember has been to figure out that "more which is underneath what is presently seen." 

Hence, my life long passion with being just plain curious. In truth, my curiosity has been my most valued game strategy.

The above Henry Miller quote is very important because many people blame circumstances or the world for being "messed up" when it is actually US who are out of sync or who are not in alignment with the World aka Universal Energies, meaning that the imbalance comes from within us, not the world. In other words, the imbalance does NOT originate from outside of us, it originates from within us. 

I recently heard a Spiritual Leader that I know well describe the world as being "crazy" and I could only shake my head about that because he was at that very moment teaching his own limited and distorted version of reality as truth to potentially thousands of people. 

I hear this limited and scary perception of the world all the time from my 73 year old next door neighbor, but I did not expect to hear this viewpoint espoused by a Spiritual Leader, particularly one who claims to know the way to spiritual liberation. Yet this guy actually considers himself to be a "mystic." Did I mention that I currently live in LA? If you are wondering, that explains it!

So there you have it ladies and gentlemen, straight from the dictionary, no less! There IS an evolving from one level to another to all this! Contrary to what you may have been taught, there IS Evolution and progression from one stage to the next.

You absolutely do not have to stay on the "spiritual practice treadmill" forever or even for long periods of time...particularly not in this New and emerging Paradigm!

If anyone tells you any differently, and that includes any so called Gurus, Spiritual Teachers, "Enlightened Ones" etc, this is because a major reliance on spiritual practices, rituals, teachings, etc. is where THEY are in THEIR own stage of personal or spiritual evolution, which while totally fine, it has nothing whatsoever to do with YOUR stage of personal/spiritual evolution, unless you falsely believe it does.

There is nothing wrong with this reliance, as long as it is not promoted as a "one size fits all" fit for everyone, because it most definitely is not! Everyone is at a different stage on the evolutionary path, and people change and evolve constantly.

For example, I have a good friend who has been going to the same Spiritual Center for 15 or 16 years now, whereas the first time I ever met him in late 2006, I saw in him that his destiny was to actually lead and teach what he has discovered Spiritually to others as a teacher or minister. 

This came to me as I watched his face light up and fill with absolute joy as he recounted to me how much fun he had recently doing just that as a guest teacher at another Spiritual Center. I told him what I saw, and that was the first time we had ever met and spoke.

"If you do not express your own unique self, if you do not listen to your own being, you will have betrayed yourself. Also, you will have betrayed your community in failing to make your contribution."

We are now friends who have no problem disagreeing with each other, and he promptly told me No, he had considered doing that previously but, for whatever reason, he felt it was not his calling. So I left it there, but during our numerous conversations over the years since, he would always come back to my words and how wrong they were. Now remember, I would not bring the topic up, HE would, but he would bring it up to tell me how wrong I was about what I said way back then about what I saw as his true calling.

I would always just say to him that I stand by what I saw then and what I still see now, and, needless to say, that would irritate him tremendously. What was really interesting to me is that my friend admitted to me that he presently got very little from the lectures that he heard at the Spiritual Center he had been attending for many years.  

In fact, he told me that he would most times either fall asleep during the lecture from the Spiritual Teacher, or he would usually choose that exact moment to get up and walk around. I told him that the reason why he fell asleep or walked around during the lecture was because he had outgrown it. 

He had already received everything that he had come there to receive spiritually and, to be totally honest, his spirit was just plain bored! The same thing happened to me when I briefly attended this same Spiritual Center, but thankfully it did not take me 15 or 16 years to realize I had received everything I came there to learn and receive.

It took me only about a year, and my situation was more complicated, because there were other overriding factors involved with me even being there. In fact, if those other factors had not been involved in my own unique situation, I would not have even been there in the first place! 

Having said that, I am so very grateful for what I experienced and learned while there, because much of what is included within this website was initiated as a result of that very pivotal experience, which I now realize was it's main purpose.

The experience greatly accelerated my own evolution and growth because it got me delving into questions about the true reality of our life's journey that would have never happened had I not gone there to experience a different or alternative point of view, which, at the same time, was paradoxically, also complementary.

Now I get to share MY truth, which is what I have personally learned from the perspective of my own unique journey, via this website and also benefit and empower many people at the same time as a result of discovering my truth!

After I moved on and left that Spiritual Center, my 22 year old daughter Heather continued to attend it, off and on, for about 6 months longer than I did. Then SHE outgrew it! When did she know she had outgrown it? When she found herself text messaging or falling asleep during the lecture which she began to find boring, as opposed to her being truly uplifted, interested and engaged in the lecture before. And the only reason why it took Heather longer than me, is because she was away at college for most of the time I attended.

And the TRUE realization of having "all that you need" means that you no longer need an intermediary, guru, or teacher to guide you to where you already are. The job has been done. Or, at least, that's the way it is suppose to be! 

Let me be clear, the actual lecture was not "boring" so to speak, even though this was the obvious experience of me, my daughter and my friend. The lecture was fine, at least it was for much of the time I attended there. The Spiritual Center did begin to get more show biz and celebrity centered, (or maybe it was always that way, but I evolved to see it more clearly), and this was a definite turn off for me, but the lecture was still relevant, even if I had personally outgrown it.

The point is that, we each progressed, evolved and outgrew the message. We each "got it!" What happens when you outgrow something like a friendship or relationship, yet you keep going through the motions like nothing has changed? It gets boring! Your mind drifts. It's the proverbial "He's/She's just not that into you anymore!" It happens. It's called Evolution aka Life! 

Nothing lasts forever, ladies and gentlemen...nor is it suppose to! We are here to EVOLVE...not to remain stuck and static in the same place forever, particularly when it comes to our spiritual journey and path. If we are really and truly progressing, evolving and growing, we have to eventually let go of certain mindsets, beliefs, practices, etc. so that we can continue to move onward and upward. It's the Law of Life!

That is where many of you are right now in some critical area of your own lives, at the threshold of the abyss, waiting to leap to the other side. The question is WILL YOU? Only you can answer that question. I guess that coming to the end of the line in regard to the benefit of the lecture at my former Spiritual Center is a great example of reaching that abyss. 

You are "just not that into" the Spiritual lecture or talk anymore because your spirit is telling you, "Been there, done that; we know this already, it's time to move on to the next level!" Or as I recently saw written in regard to this exact same experience:

Evolution anyone? I would now like to add a special and intriguing note to all this. 

While researching for this website, I came across something that I think correlates with mine and the experience of many others I know. There is a popular recognition among many people that "time is speeding up." 

I am sure that many of you have somewhat noticed it yourselves. It just seems like the days, weeks, months, years are getting shorter and shorter. Time just seems to be going by faster and faster. There is an interesting theory in Quantum Physics that this is because linear time is giving way to non-linear time. Some Quantum Physicists refer to it as "time collapsing."

Within this same premise, here is a quote that may have relevance to this overall topic:

"While time has been speeding up, there has been a simultaneous increase in novelty among spiritually significant trends. Rate of growth among receptive individuals in terms of awareness and emotional maturity is accelerating. You may have changed more in the past two years than you did in the five years before that. When more personal growth is crammed into a shorter amount of time, it appears that things have picked up pace and more ground is being covered more quickly. The combination of "days flying by" and "having come so far in so few years" contributes to our perception that "time is speeding up." There is another interesting trend worth noting, which is that the more recently a person awakens to go on a pursuit of truth, the more rapid his or her growth is from that point onward. I know several people who started their spiritual paths in the 1960s and 70s, and it took them about two decades to complete the first pass of their research, to come full circle, and finally see the bigger picture. My awakening began in 1993 and I did not reach that point until 2003, so about a decade. Those I know who began in 2001 reached it by 2004, so three years. Now I am coming across people who are doing it in under a year, sometimes just a few months."

The reason why the above quote "resonated" with me so much is because, although I now realize that my entire life has been a life long spiritual journey, which I now see is just a journey of my very existence, I "consciously" and deliberately began to focus on my own personal spiritual journey in  2006, which greatly and exponentially accelerated my own growth and personal evolution from that point on.  

As a result of this intensified focus, I had the exact same experience as the people referenced in the above quote whose rapid internal growth caused them to finally see the "bigger picture" within a very short time. 

I believe my daughter is on the path to having a similar experience, and I know of many others who have as well. I also believe that this will become very common for many in this emerging New Paradigm.

To me, this only further makes the case about NOT following Spiritual Leaders, Teachers, Gurus or someone else's path or a path created by another person, and following your own authentic truth, because if you are learning from a Spiritual Teacher who has, for example, spent "decades" on the path, teaching the same thing over and over again, that is that Spiritual Teacher's "point of reference", forever teaching likely outdated teachings, practices and modalities, meaning from the Old Paradigm, at a pace that took them decades to learn, which we are so far beyond energetically right now as human beings, that it's not even funny. 

And these Spiritual Teachers have been teaching basically the SAME things for decades, adnauseum, expecting it to still apply in this emerging New Paradigm. And it simply will not!

That is one of the many reasons, in addition to wealth creation, WHY this website was created, because I have a very clear understanding of the times that we are currently evolving into, and the fact that EVERYONE IS VERY DIFFERENT & EVERYONE IS CONTINUOUSLY EVOLVING and what works for one person, will not necessarily work for the next person, especially in this emerging New Paradigm. I knew that this was meant to be a vital part of this website's overall message. It is THAT important!

Eventually, EVERYONE must choose their own unique self discovery or spiritual path because, EVERYONE is on a different level of personal evolution, which is perfect for them and exactly where they are suppose to be. Their self discovery/spiritual path is their very existence or their very life, and NO two lives or existences are the same! Your spiritual or self discovery journey can't be copied.

Going back to my good friend, who, like me, also just happens to be a native from Chicago's Southside now living many years in Southern California, we have had many, let's call them "spirited" conversations about what I saw in him the first time I saw and talked to him, (again, conversations all initiated by him).

I am very pleased to say that not only did he contact me recently about him guest speaking at a totally different Spiritual Center in June (2009), as the Spiritual Teacher, (exactly what I saw in him), but he has also just written his first book. In other words, he is evolving from the Spiritual aspirant and into the Spiritual authority/teacher, which is exactly what I first saw in him as his true calling when we first met. I am so very happy that he finally saw within himself what I initially first saw in him.

Bottomline Ladies & Gentlemen: You practice or engage in ANY spiritual study, teaching, practice, ritual, etc. until you achieve, as the definition previously stated above states, a "quality or state of being proficient" which translates into "a thorough competence." Another way of putting it is...you participate in it until you evolve beyond the need to participate in it. That's called Evolution.

You know, like that bike you ride with training wheels until you become competent enough to ride without them? Same thing! 

Let me be clear, the proficiency is at whatever level you are on at that time, not in your whole entire spiritual journey. Our spiritual journey is eternal. The competency is at whatever level that you are residing at which you are ready to graduate from, pretty much the same way we move from grade to grade in school. 

Again, same thing!

We ALL move on, ladies and gentlemen. We are here to Progress, not to remain stuck and static doing the same thing over and over again for years or decades.

From my perspective, that competence that you eventually achieve is you finally remembering or Knowing at that particular level. You don't need to practice anymore because you are now there. You are in the KNOW all the time! It's interesting, I have many friends who continue to attend the Spiritual Community that I mentioned earlier, and their lives are for the most part in shambles.

They are doing all of the things that they have been "taught" to do by the Spiritual Leader, attending the Spiritual Center faithfully every week, yet beneath the surface, their lives are really messed up and it's really sad to me.

I have one friend who attends there very regularly, who either kept getting his car impounded or getting arrested constantly for driving on a suspended license or an outstanding warrant. One of the arrests caused him to do actual jail time for something as ridiculous as failing to appear for a court hearing.

That arrest resulted in him losing his job, which was a really good job, and his life has just been one huge mess after another ever since. He is even thinking about filing a lawsuit against his former employer and claims injustice.

Yet, he is doing everything the Spiritual Leader told him to do and attending the Center multiple times every week while also doing service there, taking their spiritual classes, etc. And he is also in total denial that his life is really screwed up. He claims everything is fine, or so he says.

Yet, everything is NOT fine, and it's obvious to everyone around him, at least to those who do not attend his Spiritual Center aka those without rose colored glasses on.

I know that it sounds otherwise, but this guy is really not an idiot, he is just plain deluded. He really is a gifted human being and can be very savvy. But at the moment, he is deluded. He "does not know what harbor he is making for," and he is totally lost. And sadly he is not the only example I can cite, there are unfortunately many others.

That is what happens when you refuse to evolve or move forward, ladies and gentlemen, and it's also what happens when you rely on someone outside of yourself instead of seeking your own authentic wisdom and truth from within. Chaos!

Spiritual Practices to me say,"I'm not there yet" which is totally fine as long as you realize that this is, in the long run, intended to be temporary until you evolve into just KNOWING and it becomes your true reality or your way of Being.

When you just "know", practicing automatically ceases because it will become as certain to you as your gender, eye color, the next breath you take. In another writing on this website, I use the example of the level of knowing that I am going to take my next breath.  

I don't have to "practice" or convince myself that I am going to take my next breath, I just know that I am. I don't have to practice having brown eyes, I just know that I have brown eyes. I don't have to engage in spiritual practices, I know that I am spirit in human form, so therefore everything I do is spiritual.

I don't need to "practice" being Spiritual; I already know I am! It's that level of inner knowing where it just becomes second nature...because you will finally evolve into the realization that it IS your very nature. 

One day, it will just dawn on you, that is, if you are progressing on the evolutionary path, and not stuck or living in limbo land! The following quote from the legendary Chuang - Tzu sums up this level of being and knowing very nicely:

"The fish trap exists because of the fish. Once you've gotten the fish, you can forget the trap. The rabbit snare exists because of the rabbit. Once you have gotten the rabbit, you can forget the snare. Words exist because of their meaning. Once you have gotten the meaning, you can forget the words. Where can I find a man who has forgotten the words so I can talk with him?"

This is why I say that spiritual practice, although very important for many while on their spiritual journey, in it's truest guise, is temporal or temporary. As Chuang Tzu beautifully illustrates in his analogy, you practice until you forget the practice because you have finally "gotten" the overall objective of the practice. You realize that you already are who you are practicing to be. 

Although it may take a while, if you are truly evolving, progressing and moving forward on your path, you will eventually forget the spiritual practice. If you are truly evolving and progressing, you have to. The very nature of evolution and progression is shedding one reality for a totally new reality, over and over again. 

You do not continuously repeat or stay stuck and static within the same tired reality, while doing the "same old things" adnauseum. It's really interesting to me the fact that we all go through stages in life where we feel that we have to convince ourselves to be that which we already are. 

"Living Spiritually aka Living Naturally is not something that you do incrementally or even consciously. It's a remembered space that you eventually evolve into by realizing that the space is your natural state and has been there for you all along."

You know, we have to constantly convince ourselves that...We ARE worthy, We ARE blessed, We ARE loved, We ARE special, We ARE deserving, etc. If you are really and truly growing and evolving in life, you will eventually come to the realization that you are indeed worthy, blessed, loved, special, deserving, etc. 

You won't need to convince yourself of this fact anymore, you will just KNOW that you are. In my opinion, that is the true purpose of all spiritual practices, rituals, studies, etc. to help you to evolve from "I'm not there yet" or please convince me, to this is who I Know am, so you can step into just Being it. By the way, that's called Evolution!

I have found that if you were to really look deep down underneath the surface to the truth of the very existence of many people on the self discovery or spiritual path, even with constant and daily spiritual practices, studies, rituals, etc., many of these same individuals STILL are not living according to their heart's truest desires and are STILL not living their lives at their highest truth, purpose and potential, so they therefore are NOT really living the passionate, exciting, successful and joy filled life that they truly came here to live. That is NOT living a spiritual life, my friends!

Contrary to what you may have been taught or believe, there is just NO spirit if there is no joy, passion, excitement, and, most of all, Truth aka just Being Real and Authentic! Also, there is absolutely no boredom or routine in relation to living in spirit.

But, I have to admit...I and many others in this emerging New Paradigm was sooo looking forward to "playing" with you! You know, living, loving, giving, serving...and just having fun! I mean, I was REALLY looking forward to it, imagining it, envisioning it, contemplating it.

As you can see, we can be very imaginative! But, we imagine, envision or contemplate ONLY if we intend on DOING. It's a little like "visionary foreplay" for us, but, for us anyway, there usually is very exciting, passionate and "climatic" ending. You see, we tend to see the "big picture" and we think from the end of that picture. I guess for now, in regard to the expected "miracle" it's, to be continued...

Okay, I have had my outrageous fun. Just me "Being" me! Interestingly, I have found this lack of exciting, youthful, creative, passionate and, most of all, authentic living, even among those considered to be the most celebrated and spiritual amongst us, some who are even actually "teaching others how to live."

This, of course, calls into question the absolute fallacy in celebrating or putting anyone on an imaginary pedastel based on their "perceived" superiority, authority or mastery of Spirituality. Believe me, I learned this lesson personally, both as an adolescent and also much more recently.

I have discovered that there are even some who claim to have the answer or way to "liberation or enlightenment" but who are so far from being liberated or enlightened within themselves and within their own lives, it's not even funny.

I could go on and on with the fantasies and illusions people innocently conjure up in their own minds based totally on false pretenses and deliberate facades intentionally meant to fool and deceive. And I do mean intentionally...this is not accidental! This intentional deception happens in ALL aspects of life, personal, spiritual, political, etc.

Even though my own personal experience of supposedly "highly elevated" people living totally deceptive and inauthentic lives, is related to people whom I know of in the spiritual field, this thought immediately brings to my mind the John and Elizabeth Edwards situation. 

Remember, John Edwards, the former 2008 Democratic Presidential Candidate and his wife Elizabeth? In this marriage, we had two people who were also living a lie to all of the people who supported them in their quest to portray the "perfect marriage". 

Their mission was to make John Edwards look more viable as a Presidential Candidate. Elizabeth Edwards KNEW that her husband had been unfaithful in their marriage and was not the man that he pretended or claimed himself to be, which is really not the issue. 

What happens between two people in a personal relationship or marriage is their own business and should remain private. It becomes a problem or issue, however, when that couple deliberately forfeits that privacy in order to advance a lie for their own pursuit of power, status, and material and/or political gain. 

The issue is that the Edwards went out of their way to create the false illusion of a relationship that was far from real or true and they did it to further their own power and ambitions at the expense of their supporters who were making a determination on them based on the false picture the Edwards deliberately created. 

People donated tons of money to John Edwards based on this fantasy picture created by the Edwards and their belief that he was an honest and straight forward politician who truly cared about people, was faithful and loving to his wife, and not in it for the power, celebrity or status. 

In other words, the people who gave money to Edwards were sold a bill of goods aka deceived. Why this is important is...what would have happened had John Edwards become the Democratic Presidential Nominee? 

Where would we be as a country today, at this very pivotal time in human history, had that happened considering it has now been discovered that not only did John Edwards betray Elizabeth Edwards with another woman, (while she was struggling with cancer), with Elizabeth knowing all about it, but he just may also share a love child with this woman?

Again, this is in no way judgement against John Edward's actions. We have no idea what the true state of a marriage truly is and what adult people do in their own lives is really none of our business, even if they are public figures.

It's the deception that is the problem and the fact that it could have influenced the outcome of an election which effects the entire country, if not the world. Then it becomes NOT your private life but your lies and deception and then it becomes OUR problem. 

One couple's lies and deception could have lead to a HUGE scandal during the election campaign, had Edwards won the Democratic nomination, and could have eventually led to a complete disaster for our country and the rest of the world. At least that would have been my verdict upon hearing the words: Vice President Palin! 

The John and Elizabeth Edwards fiasco is a true learning experience for us ALL, but particularly for people in positions of leadership and authority who are perpetuating similar frauds on unsuspecting believers or followers of their cause. 

I personally know of a couple in a spiritual leadership/high profile position who presents the same pretense that the Edwards did in regard to their supposed "perfect" and faithful marriage. Why? Because the pretense or facade is a HUGE part of the selling point they use to profit off of their picture of a "perfect, faithful and spiritual marriage." It's all part of their business profit motive.

And just like John and Elizabeth Edwards, it is a complete farce which has many people who cluelessly look up to and respect these two individuals totally and more importantly, "deliberately" hoodwinked, while the people are spending their money, of course. That's the whole purpose; money, in addition to power and their idea of prestige. And this is all being done under the guise of a supposed "New Type Of Spirituality."

To all politicians and spiritual leaders who are engaged in these extremely deceptive and dishonest situations, if you honestly believe that you are not harming or hurting the people who look up to you, by the deliberate facade or false image that you create to profit or in any way benefit from your fallacy, think again! You are totally and completely fooling yourselves!

And by the way all you less than honest and honorable politicians and spiritual leaders and your enabling and equally dishonest spouses...

The Truth Really IS The Light!

And yet, just like the politicians, these spiritual teachers/leaders and their complicit and enabling partners who are very deliberately perpetuating these very deliberate and intentional hoaxs or "myths" have honestly fooled themselves into believing that THEIR way is more "conscious" or is  "different" from more traditional or organized religious groups or churches. Having intimately and extensively experienced BOTH sides of the equation, I can personally say it is NOT! 

It just goes to prove that "age old" wisdom...if it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, or quacks like a duck...it's a duck!

And it's also high time for people on the path to truly "get real" with the realization that deception and hypocrisy comes in ALL shapes, sizes, and belief/thought systems, new or old!

You just have to become "curious" enough to look deep to discover the real deal instead of accepting everything fed to you by another hook, line and sinker. In other words, it's time to do your own thinking, ladies and gentlemen!

That is what Personal Responsibility and Self Empowerment is REALLY all about, and also why you really can't cast blame. You took the bait, so you must now own your Choice...and then "resolve to evolve" by making different, more authentic choices! Hey, that would make a great personal affirmation:

"I Resolve To Evolve!" Cool, huh?

And no, when you "resolve to evolve", your challenges, obstacles or problems do not "dissolve", as I have heard one Spiritual Leader falsely state. In fact, the exact opposite happens. To be totally honest, your challenges or obstacles will more than likely increase, but that is only because you are finally "doing something" and taking progressive action on your spiritual path.

What will happen eventually as you continuously evolve, is that you will begin to see the challenges or obstacles, not as problems, but as the GIFTS they truly are because they are further helping you to progress and evolve, which is their real purpose, by the way.

From my own perspective, these contradictions all open up a whole Pandora's Box as to what does it REALLY mean to be "Spiritual" which really means living at all times in alignment with your TRUE nature aka from Spirit aka your "True Self?"

I think I have a much different perspective on that topic than many in the current New Spirituality mainstream. As usual, I am "outside of that imaginary box."

Here's the deal, ladies and gentlemen! In short, my version of living at all times from spirit or in total alignment with my true nature is very simple. It is, first and foremost, just being REAL, being TRUE, being 100% authentic. 

It's living from your heart, your soul and your absolute truth at all times, no matter what. There is NO pretense, evasion, denial or dishonesty whatsover on your part in ANY aspect of your life. There is no neverending search for celebrity or any other type of meaningless status and attention seeking. There are no masks, facades, delusions, or maintaining appearances in just "Being Real."

As the above quote from the legendary Frederick Douglas so eloquently reveals, when you live at this higher level of reality and Being, it's not even about how others perceive you, but how you perceive yourself. Even if your personality, (ego), is in denial or delusional, your heart can never be. It always knows the "real deal!"

When you are truly living authentically, totally from your heart's truest desires, and completely from your absolute truth, eventually everything else just falls into place. When you are living from your heart and soul, and living totally from your own unique and personal truth, you will eventually discover that you don't have to do daily spiritual practices indefinitely, habitually or forever to achieve a continuous state of peace, joy, gratitude, appreciation, balance, passion, etc.

Who knew that the late, legendary singer, Jim Morrison was such a Prophetic Mystic? I have always loved his and The Doors's music and now I discover this about him. It just further confirms my absolute belief that EVERYONE has profound wisdom and genius within them! We just need to have the courage to let it out sometimes. Jim's quote is totally on point!

Richard Bach is also totally on point. That is truly your ONLY obligation, ladies and gentlemen....to be TRUE to yourselves! 

Ultimately, as Jim Morrison's quote says, if you are not "being who you are" you are "trading your reality for a role".You are basically "acting" or "putting on a mask."  

Ladies and gentlemen, if you are not really being true to yourself, "living authentically", which means living your life according to your highest purpose, passion and potential, and following your heart's truest desires, then you are Just Not Free.

When all is said and done, ladies and gentlemen...what else really matters? Granted, it can be very difficult, scary and it ultimately takes a great deal of honesty, courage and a very strong will to live your life at this higher level, but...so what? 

You possess ALL of these attributes, and did you ever think to yourself that the reason that you may be facing whatever challenges you are dealing with in your life is because the Universe is giving you the opportunity to utilize them?

I mean, how else will you ever know that you are courageous, honest, strong willed, etc. without actually utilizing these very attributes in circumstances that actually require courage, honesty and strength? 

It's very easy and simple to say or think about how YOU would respond in any challenging or difficult situation, but what you say and think versus what you would actually DO if you were actually within the midst of that challenge usually is not the same thing.

You may want to respond lovingly, courageously and honestly in a challenging or difficult situation but if you were really in the midst of it, would you? How would you know if you would? The honest answer is you really don't know unless you have walked that exact road or a very similar one previously.

Ah, that truly magical and freeing word...Courage! There are many self promoting experts and spiritual teachers who make a career out of giving and bestowing wisdom and advice, but, the question is, do they adhere to their own wisdom or take their own advice? 

Do they display true fearlessness and courage in their own lives while preaching to others to do the same? Do they cede to no limitations in their own lives? You may be very surprised to learn that some do not. I know this from very personal experience. 

For example, right as I am typing these words, there is a growing controversy in regard to the Spiritual Center that I use to attend, with them making the highly questionable and practically unheard of decision to charge a fee for the streaming of their online spiritual services on the Internet.

They are basically charging a mandatory offering/fee for their spiritual message, unlike most other churches who are online who do not charge a dime. In fact, they are highly unique in this regard. I have been unable to find ANY other church online who charges for it's spiritual message.

I get more into this issue of turning Spirituality into a "commodity" later in this writing, but just the fact that they thought that this was an acceptable idea, demonstrates an excellent example of a Spiritual Leader who preaches a spiritual message of "no limits and anything is possible" yet fails to "practice" this very real truth in his own life and community.

In other words, he doesn't "walk his talk!"

And what's even sadder to me is that the majority of the members of the spiritual community are too clueless to even recognize this fact.

This decision to not think more creatively and consciously in support of ALL by "limiting" his spiritual message to only those who can pay for it, or in not widening his own point of view to search out the multiple Free online streaming sources currently available online, so that his spiritual message can be freely made available to ALL, regardless of a person's financial ability to pay or station in life, is very telling to me. 

Maybe that is not even an issue because they are more interested in making a profit. Honestly, I don't know, but if profit is the motive, just be honest about it and don't claim that you have no choice when it can be proven that you do have multiple other choices in the matter. Like I said, I get more into this important "Spirituality as a Commodity" issue later in this writing.

But I must say that this all only confirms my sincere belief that all wisdom that comes from within is intended, first and foremost, for the person directly receiving the wisdom, even if that person happens to be sharing his/her wisdom with others.

In other words, the "no limits, anything is possible, etc." message that this Spiritual Leader "downloads" every Sunday is meant first and foremost for HIM, although it's very nice that he also chooses to freely share it with others...that is unless his message is live streamed online, as of the date of this writing. It would just be nice if he heeded his own message aka "walked his talk".

Generally, I have personally discovered that most people have lived their "persona" for so long, that they have forgotten what it feels like to be truly alive and to really be true to themselves. That is until something or someone comes along, who shocks, upsets and "wakes them up"and reveals to them the truth of their flawed, little and suddenly mediocre and limiting, (in addition to passionless), existence. And then the real struggles and the challenges begin...with their own Soul! The dark night has begun!

Wow, what a concept! Actually having a focused intention to "be true and to live up to the light that you have." There's a good reason why Abraham Lincoln is our most adored and most respected President. Ultimately, ladies and gentlemen, the only REAL way that we can truly know who we are in a difficult or challenging situation is by actually experiencing it. 

How we respond tells us if we are TRULY honest, courageous, strong, wise, loving, forgiving, etc...or if we are not! Here is a quote that basically summarizes a critical aspect of life which I have personally discovered:

You may even discover that you are not the person you had perceived yourself to be...but isn't that a GOOD thing if you use that realization to get yourself on the right track? Isn't it better to become aware of the delusion instead of remaining oblivious to it? 

Well, the Universe obviously thinks so, which is the reason why it "gifted" you with the challenge in the first place. The Universe just wants you to GET REAL!

Ultimately, we have to have the courage to be wrong. We have to be willing to take risks in life. We have to address our fears head on. Fear in the heart puts a damper on the appreciation of the wonderful gift of life.

Fear aka "f - false e - evidence a - appearing r - real" keeps us stuck, static and hardens our belief of helplessness and futility and causes those who are wrapped up in fear to cease being truly alive and free. Living in fear is merely existing, and it is not even an enjoyable existence because where there is no passion, there is no joy. This all, ultimately, stems from our fear of being wrong. It's all connected!

In acknowledging the real possibility of us potentially being wrong or "failing", yet doing it anyway if it is what our heart is telling us to do, we will inevitably discover that we were not wrong at all. In reality, it is only when we DO NOT follow our hearts and live from our authentic truth that we are "wrong" or misguided, ladies and gentlemen. 

You can NEVER be wrong if you follow your heart, despite what anyone else outside of you thinks or says about your decision to do so. Ultimately, we are the only ones who really know what is true for our own selves; no one else, and that includes parents, peers, authority figures, etc.

If you really want to know the truth, the reason why people or circumstances show up in our lives to "challenge" the rightness or logic of our heart's desires and decisions is not to stop us. These people or circumstances are showing up to help us to get off the fence and decide once and for all what we really stand for. They are helping us to define our own truth. They are also, in reality, teaching us about ourselves.

These people prevent us from remaining static or from being "wishy washy" or vague. The Universe does not like wishy washy or "vague." It wants us to take a clear and affirmative stand on whatever side is true for us, once and for all, and that is the TRUE purpose of whatever or whoever shows up in our lives to challenge our decisions, beliefs and actions. They are all blessings or very useful pawns in our own individual versions of the game of life.

It kind of reminds me of a "Reality TV Star" you know, those celebrities who make it on the show based on their past glories, which more than likely, most people are not even old enough to remember. 

I have observed that the lives of many people are like a record on a turntable that has hit a scratch and the needle gets stuck in the groove as the same note is repeated over and over again...adnauseum.  Yet even in the midst of this stuck or static state, some are either still blowing their own horn as to how great and evolved they are, or allowing others, who don't know any better, to do it for them.

In regard to the challenging people and circumstances who show up in our lives, in reference to the Lincoln quote above, the Universe is sick of the shadow and wants to discover the tree, aka the Real Deal. 

The Universe could care less about our reputation but cares a whole heck of a lot about our true character. The Universe is simply helping us to really discover and know the TRUTH of who we really are, not the mask or facade that we hide behind, but, again, the real deal.

This is one reason why it is not too wise to judge others while they are in the midst of their unique challenges unless you have truly walked in their shoes. This is something that I have to remind myself of all the time. And I'm still working on it!

News Flash Guys & Gals: we discover who we REALLY are via our challenges! How we respond to life's challenges helps us to discover exactly what we are made of and who we really and truly are. They help us to discover our truth so that we can hopefully begin to live from that truth. That is the ultimate purpose of our challenges, not to torment us.

Let's make that crystal clear...it's time for the illusion to be dismantled! More importantly, if these "outside" surroundings are depended on for too long by you, they become a serious detriment to your life's evolution and progress because they will inevitably become "a psychological crutch."

Again, those "surroundings and things that you do and learn within them" can be extremely beneficial to your life's progress temporarily, as long as you realize that their TRUE purpose is temporal until you can just step into Being, regardless of "doing", circumstances or surroundings. 

However, if you never evolve beyond them, they become a liability to your soul and a psychological crutch to your mind, becoming a severe detriment to your own evolution and growth.

For those who think there is no such thing as "living a life of passion, peace and joy in spite of circumstances or surroundings"...I and many others would beg to differ! We are living it and so can you!

From my own personal perspective, it's like someone coming up to the world's most honored Olympian, Michael Phelps and saying "You are the greatest swimmer in the world Michael, now let me teach you how to swim!" 

If you really and truly believe what you are saying, doesn't the person already have everything within themselves to be who they already are?

Isn't your encouragement of a dependence on you and your teachings saying, "No, you really do not have greatness and wisdom within you. Your greatness can only be realized by you going through me?"

For me, it just does not add up or fit. Something just seems totally and completely "off" to me. And that's because it is totally off! I mean, do you truly believe the words that you are teaching and saying or don't you? 

Your lips are moving saying one thing, Mr. Guru/Teacher, but your actions and deeds are telling a whole different story! Your "walking and talking" are totally out of alignment! Most importantly, if you as a teacher and authority figure to the seeker, don't believe or have faith in your own words, how can you expect the seeker who is listening to them to truly believe and have faith in them, deep down inside?

It reminds me of a Spiritual Leader whom I know who stands on the stage in his Spiritual Center proclaiming that "If God is for you, nothing can be against you, so have no fear!", yet this same Spiritual Leader chooses to surround himself with bodyguards immediately after stepping off the stage and is constantly surrounded by them. Why?

That tells me that this guy does not have faith or belief in his own words. Who is he afraid of or in need of protection from...the members of his own Spiritual Community?

And this guy just recently did a seminar on "Fearless Living!"

Another popular quote from this same Spiritual Leader while he is on stage is "You were never born and you will never die." He is basically saying that we are all eternal beings, so don't hold onto or put too much stock in this present lifetime because it is a small part of the soul's overall journey. So this means to not care too much about aging, dying, etc.

Sounds good to me, yet this same Spiritual Leader is so fearful and paranoid about anyone discovering his true birth age, that a few years ago, when his adult son came to the Spiritual Community on his birthday, the Spiritual Leader refused to tell his adult son's age for fear that everyone would figure out his true age. 

He actually gave this as the reason for not telling his son's age. I was flabbergasted! Yet another clear example of this guy obviously having absolutely no belief or faith in his own words. 

So it stands to reason that the follower more than likely does not believe the Spiritual Leader's words on a deep inner level, if it can be clearly proven that the Spiritual Leader does not even believe or have faith in his own words. Then the question inevitably becomes...

Are you truly helping the seeker or are you unknowingly hurting him/her in regard to their overall evolution and growth, Mr. Spiritual Leader? 

Are you perhaps playing a part in "stunting" or preventing that growth, Mr. Spiritual Leader? 

Many Spiritual Leaders, Teachers, Gurus, etc. will have to honestly ask themselves this question, particularly in this emerging New Paradigm. 

It will require a great deal of self reflection, courage and soul searching. Ironically, those are the same things that many of them are asking the people who follow them to do. It sounds to me like many teachers, Gurus, etc. need to heed their own wisdom! In reality, it IS primarily meant for them!

I mean, think about it...what is the REAL message that is being communicated to people when you as the teacher rightly remind them of their own authentic power and inherent wisdom, yet at the same time, they are told that they need to be dependent on YOU as a guide or an intermediary to get to where your words are claiming they already are? 

"The sign of a truly authentic Spiritual Master is one who knows that everyone is equal and exactly where they are suppose to be on the evolutionary ladder, yet each has a uniquely different path to follow up that ladder, so would never presume to teach a particular spiritual path to another; because a TRUE Spiritual Master would know that the ONLY path for a person to follow is the path of the soul, which can ONLY be found within."

What does it REALLY say to people when a seeker is told that they require a "one size fits all" script or plan dictated by a teacher or guru to follow in order for the seeker to access their own unique and authentic power? Does that even make commonsense? In Chicago, we would call that "talking out of both sides of your mouth!"

I mean, talk about sending mixed or conflicting messages! I would truly LOVE to hear the rationale or the explanation that any Spiritual Teacher, Guru or "Enlightened One" would choose to offer to provide a bit of clarity on this very obvious and legitimate conflict and contradiction...but I won't hold my breath! 

"The most powerful and loving people are the most truthful. The least powerful and least loving people are the least truthful. Truth and love are One. You can only be as loving as you are authentic. Those who are most authentic have the truest love of all."

"Truth and Love are One."That's it in a nutshell ladies and gentlemen! If you are not coming from truth and honesty, particularly in your relationships with others, you are not coming from love. I personally know of specific people who are thought of as "spiritually evolved", and who even base their reputation on this perception and cultivate the "persona" of being the epitome of love and spiritual evolution, yet their real and true lives tell a much different story.

I once saw an analogy in regard to killing a fly with a fly swatter versus using fly paper. The fly swatter kills the fly instantly and swiftly but the fly paper kills the fly slowly and painfully until the fly starves to death.

Yet, people who use the fly paper claim that this is the "humane" way to kill the fly. That is a perfect example of a situation where I would say that the person who uses the fly paper is not being truthful or honest, yet the person thought to be using the least "evolved" method, aka the person with the fly swatter, is being totally honest.

The person who uses the fly paper wants to "pretend" that they are not doing what they are actually doing...which is killing the fly! The person with the fly swatter is up front and honest and in that honesty more humane and loving in regard to the fly. He knows what he is about to do, he is upfront and honest about it, and he is mercifully quick. The fly paper actually tortures the fly as it dies slowly and painfully!

I use this analogy because many people fool themselves in the exact same way by believing that they are not being honest and truthful with a person out of "love" or the next best stand by word, "compassion." They claim that they don't want to "hurt" people by just telling the truth; being real and by just being honest. In actuality, they are just being cowards.

How can you hurt a person with the truth? Isn't it much more hurtful to allow someone to go on believing a lie? Isn't it in fact engaging in "torture" to allow a person to go on believing a lie until the lie can no longer be contained, while that deceived person builds their life and career based on an illusion that has been fed to them that is bound to be revealed a lie sooner or later?

How much precious time was wasted? How many opportunitities were lost? How many more lies were told to try to prop up that initial lie? How many innocent friends, family and people involved by extension were also hurt and deceived, not by you just being real, straightforward and honest...but by the lie or lies?

How exactly is that love???

This level of self delusion and self deception, (on a massive scale!), can only happen with someone who is coming predominantly from Ego, and someone who is totally not living authentically and not living in integrity with him or herself, even if that person is "thought" to be "spiritually evolved" and promotes their own inauthentic lives as a supposed example to follow.

In this instance, ladies and gentlemen, the Emperor/Empress really doesn't have any clothes!

Going back to my "Michael Phelps Analogy" above, the obvious question is could any spiritual teacher even come up with a plausible, explainable or coherent answer or rationale for the stark contradiction, or lack of truth and honesty within their message?

If a spiritual teacher CAN'T adequately address any contradiction or inconsistency in his or her message...that speaks volumes, does it not?

This is where discernment and taking responsibility for ourselves comes into play, ladies and gentlemen! I personally believe that we are here to discover our OWN Truth, our OWN unique and individual path, the path that we can ONLY discover for ourselves. This means that the only person who has your truth and your answers is YOU! Co-Dependence of any kind in relation to Self Empowerment is an Oxymoron!

Definition of the word Oxymoron: Something, (as a concept), that is made up of contradictory or incongruous elements.

And is your chosen Spiritual Teacher, Guru, etc."walking the path?" 

Oh, you don't have one? 

Then congratulations, you are already ahead of the game! 

This brings me to a truly awesome quote from a Fellow Conscious Business Entrepreneur and Author named Michael Port, whom I respect a great deal and who echoes my sentiments exactly:

"I have never met a real "Guru" and neither have you. "Guru - izing" people is a classic example of "small thinking." In fact, we spend so much time "guru - izing" people that we have fallen into the "guru trap." It is a trap that distorts our view of ourselves by fooling us into believing that we are somehow "different", (i.e lesser), than the Guru. That Gurus are special, blessed - something - and that's why they can do big things in the world, (and why we can't). We think Gurus "can-do-no-wrong", that they have all the answers.

What nonsense!

NO ONE has all the answers! Maybe it's comforting to imagine that some "Guru" knows all. In fact, we are, all of us, surprisingly similar on the inside. Now is a good time to escape the "guru trap". The answers we are looking for are inside US."

All I can say to the above quote from Marketing Expert and Author Michael Port is...Amen! I totally second Michael's view point, particularly in regard to the notion of following "Gurus" and also being dependent on "Spiritual" Teachers, whose teachings never end, being "a classic example of small thinking", particularly in this New Paradigm. 

Another word that I would use is it's a classic example of "limited" thinking and it also reveals a total lack of creativity, innovation and imagination.

And people wonder WHY their lives have so little excitement, passion and joy...which, by the way, is our natural and true state of being!

In relation to the teaching "never ending" with the Guru, Spiritual Teacher, etc., this only PROVES that what is being taught is suspect, and not to mention ridiculous, because there is NO teaching from one individual to another that never ends or even long term!

That would not only defy Universal Law; the Laws of Evolution, aka forward movement, progression, etc., but it would also defy the absolute TRUTH of the innate and unique wisdom and power of each and every human being! This could only mean one of two very unfortunate scenarios in regard to these Gurus and Teachers. 

Either they know they are promoting a false premise to unsuspecting people who do not know any better, yet who have put their faith and trust in them in the pursuit of monetary gain, fame, status or power, OR they DON'T know that this is absolutely NOT how the Universe works...yet they are teaching their totally faulty beliefs and false illusions to countless others as "the truth" or "the way" while derailing those they are legitimately trying to help from the "real deal" aka the Truth that can only be found within each unique individual. 

In the second scenario, the Ego could also be running totally out of control and believing in it's own "hype", in addition to having become dangerously dependent on the attention, fame and adulation they become use to receiving and feeding off of. Unfortunately, it becomes like a drug to some. Sadly, in many cases, "attachment issues" is not just a problem for the follower.

For example, I know of a certain Spiritual Leader/Teacher who uses Facebook regularly, (almost obsessively for a time), and he is always receiving messages from his thousands of "friends" or followers that say things like the following, "I am so grateful to bask in your light!" or "I love being in the presence of your light!" or many other similar type statements from innocent and good-hearted people who, unfortunately, are also totally deluded and clueless.

I call these kind hearted people "deluded" because we are NOT here to bask in anyone else's light, we are here to bask and stand in our own light and power. 

And, oddly enough, even though this same truth is very much a part of this Spiritual Teacher's own message, usually he does not comment, which I find very curious. Another example of the contradiction between the "message and the actual actions and deeds."

In the many weeks that I had been observing this interesting interaction, he has made absolutely NO attempt to correct this totally false and ridiculous "basking in his light" nonsense from people who are making these totally off the mark comments to him.

But he does make sure to make time to post pictures of his encounters with "celebrities" whenever he can, or attractive photos of himself, yet rarely anything close to a spiritual message or insight, (until very recently.) But he has been known to respond to his followers "light basking" comments on the rare occasion. 

His response? 

"Thank you!"

Yes, I have FINALLY discovered the higher purpose of Facebook! It reveals a multitude of sins and truths for those who are observant and "curious" like me. Facebook has been really interesting and very benecial in my writing for this particular web page.

It's like the Universe is leading me by giving me access to solid proof to back up what I am saying, because although I am careful not to use any names, I can most definitely prove or back up everything I am saying if I need to. I feel that I am definitely being divinely guided in this regard.    

Quite obviously, (to me at least), this Spiritual Leader totally believes in his own hype...Big Time! This does not make this Spiritual Teacher/Leader a bad person at all, I actually like him, which is why I am not using his name.

Believe me, if I didn't like him, I would very happily use his name. I am very good at the use of words and knowing how to state "an opinion", and I am also very good at documenting and being able to back up everything that I write, and I would even relish being called to prove and document the reasons for my conclusions.

But no, I have no desire to do so in this case. And the main reason is that this Spiritual Leader's wisdom has greatly helped me in the past. It was an amazing catalyst for me. I am and will forever be grateful to him for that, but I also have to speak the truth as I see it via this website because, unlike this Spiritual Leader, I have not "sold out" on my soul's mission and purpose.

I believe that this Spiritual Leader has a divine purpose as a truly authentic Spiritual Messenger, but, in my opinion, he has "sold out" in favor of the seeking of fame, profit, celebrity and power, but most importantly , he is selling out, (again, in my opinion), by encouraging his followers to depend on him for their wisdom rather than encouraging or empowering them to seek their own wisdom from within.

And I believe that this selling out is causing him AND his followers to remain stuck and static; with him preaching and teaching the same "old paradigm" spiritual teachings and practices which he has been promoting for decades, and which have no bearing whatsoever in the New Paradigm, to people whom he is also continuously encouraging to depend solely upon him for their "wisdom", instead of taking the "true and real path" and encouraging them to seek their own unique and authentic wisdom from within themselves. In my opinion, he is basically leading people down the garden path or sending them up a creek without a paddle.

I believe that this is not intentional, and has been done more so by him on a subconscious level, (at least I hope that it's subconscious), but that does not matter, the misdirection, disempowerment, and the real harm done to many is the same, and that's why it is being "called out" by me. And in case the question popped into your head, "Is that your job Pam?", the answer is most definitely YES, it is my job.

Call it me being in total alignment with MY soul's calling, mission and purpose!

And I don't by any means believe that he is the only Spiritual Leader out there who has done the exact same thing aka sold out, or at least, in my opinion he has. Yet the Universe chose to bring him into my life as an excellent example to help me to facilitate this specific message on this website. And he is exactly that, an example among many examples out there which is now being called out into the light of day in this emerging New Paradigm.

Oh Yeah...It Most Definitely Is A New Day, Ladies & Gentlemen! 

Many Spiritual Leaders, Gurus, Teachers, etc. have become co-dependent and extremely attached to the attention offered to them by their followers, while at the same time have become addicted to the seeking of fame, celebrity, stardom, and the adulation and profits that comes along with it, which, by the way, has nothing whatsoever to do with True Spirituality.

This false and totally non-spiritual path has been unfortunately followed to the detriment of not only those who follow these Spiritual Leaders, but the harm has also been done to the Spiritual Leaders themselves. Hence, the advice by me to follow no one outside of YOU, considering that, in reality, we are ALL teachers.

I believe that the legendary author, Richard Bach, described the exact and TRUE nature of our evolving relationship as BOTH teachers and students to one another, which has nothing to do with attention, adulation, status or fame, in the following quote:

"Learning is finding out what you already know. Doing is demonstrating that you know it. Teaching is reminding others they know it as well as you do. We are ALL learners, doers and teachers."

That quote from Bach is very prophetic to me because within it reveals the REAL truth of it all. In relation to the spiritual path, a teacher can never teach or help you to learn anything; a teacher can only temporarily help or guide you to remember what you already know! In his truest role a spiritual teacher is meant to do one thing only....Inspire!

Any teacher or Guru who does not realize this timeless and eternal truth is, (to put it as mildly as possible)...Mistaken! Or worse!

I also believe that the legendary, (and also a Native Chicagoan), Buckmeister Fuller hit the nail right on the head with the following words in regard to what we ALL must very quickly graduate to in this emerging New Paradigm, which, by the way, has nothing whatsoever to do with following another human being:

This brings me to a quote from a Spiritual Coach who really "get's it." There are people who are here whose specific purpose is to show others the way spiritually aka the way back to themselves. That is their divine calling. This is to show that I do not believe that all Spiritual Teachers are egocentric, misguided or misdirected...far from it!

There are many that know what their TRUE purpose is and who are dedicated to that purpose which has nothing whatsover to do with profiting off of those they are helping or seeking fame, fortune, celebrity or stardom, nor allowing people to continue with the ridiculous and false delusion of "basking in their light".

The Spiritual Coach Pohaku would fall into that "authentic spiritual teacher" category, and he is one of the Free resources represented on the web page "The University Of You" for those who are interested.

By the way, Pohaku lives in Hawaii, and he refers to himself as a "Spiritual Coach", which is a much more authentic term since as the legendary Galileo stated in the above quote, "We cannot teach people anything. We can only help them to discover it within themselves." Pohaku totally "get's" this ancient truth. Here is the quote by him:

"My job is to help you to remember the things that you already know. Like a treasure buried beneath your house, this knowledge has been within you all the time and I am simply helping you to unearth what is already yours."

Everytime I read those words, they bring tears to my eyes because that is truly what it's all about. Remembering who you are and what is already yours. And Pohaku also knows the truth that "you cannot sell to another what is already theirs", which is why his Spiritual Coaching Podcast Series which is featured on the "University Of You" web page is absolutely Free.

In other words, this guy is "the real deal!" 

In regard to the many paths of wisdom contained within this website, this could be one particular path, a whole variety of paths...or no path at all! Just let your heart, intuition or inner voice be your guide. It knows best for YOU and it will never, ever steer you wrong!

When there is disagreement between our conscious desires aka what we want for ourselves, and our subconscious beliefs aka what we truly believe about ourselves on a subconscious level, which usually are beliefs we are not even conscious or aware of, your conscious desires will ALWAYS lose the struggle.

The mind has been compared by some to an iceberg; with the small iceberg peak visible, (the conscious mind), and the enormous majority of the iceberg, hidden under water, being unseen, (the subconscious mind). The subconscious is the deepest level of consciousness which individuals are not directly aware of, but which profoundly affects our conscious thoughts, beliefs, decisions and behaviors.

Another analogy that I have seen is that the subconscious mind is like the Captain of the ship and the conscious mind is the ship's crew. Who takes orders from whom...the Captain or the crew? In a nutshell, the "unseen" (the subconscious mind) is the Captain which basically runs the whole show, whether we know it or not, ladies and gentlemen!

Exactly! Most of us are paralyzed in one low vibrational state and cling to that state. No matter how hard you may try, there is no way to factor out the emotional component in relation to Self Empowerment and TRUE Liberation. Again, this is a critical "missing link" or component to most teachings, philosophies and personal development courses, motivational seminars, etc.

In order to achieve TRUE happiness and for truly expanded Consciousness to occur, your negative emotions, which include your fears, limiting beliefs, doubts, low self esteem and low self worth, past traumas, guilt, negative perceptions, doubts, nonforgiveness, shame, blame, suppressed resentment and anger, prejudices, etc...MUST be dealt with by first identifying them, acknowledging them, surrendering them and then finally releasing them.

The third critical area necessary for achieving TRUE Self Empowerment is "Optimum Daily Nutrition."  This may seem to many to be a totally unrelated area but it most certainly is not and here's why.

Well, I have to say that this is much better than their previous anti-vitamin policy, but it still totally does not represent what Americans truly need to take in regard to nutritional supplementation on a daily basis to come anywhere close to optimum nutrition. And, doesn't their final admission that, no, we were mistaken, you can't actually receive all of the nutrients you need from food, kind of make any current recommendations in regard to nutrition from the AMA questionable?

And since I was so "on point" before about Jon Stewart, my prediction for who is the leader in the New Paradigm in regard to authenticity, integrity and courage in journalism on the blogosphere front, is the journalist whom I trust the most and have the most respect for, The Atlantic's incomparable Andrew Sullivan. Andrew's quotes from his excellent Blog, "The Daily Dish," are all over this website and for very good reason.

I believe that this is a rarity in mainstream journalism right now, but I predict it will become the wave of the future if journalism hopes to survive in this emerging New Paradigm. Andrew Sullivan is one of a growing number of bright stars out there in the New Media who really help me to believe that it will.

Wow...two men after my own heart!

The web page on this website titled,"Law Of Attraction Example", goes into specific detail about not only my beliefs in regard to the "true intention of capitalism", which aligns perfectly with Mackay's definition of "Conscious Capitalism", but also where these long held beliefs originated from and who inspired them in me.

Many people automatically hear the word "capitalism" and immediately think bad things like "greed." I liken this simplistic, shortsighted and unimaginative notion to the example of labeling the Office of the Presidency as "bad" because we have had some horrible Presidents or labeling Education as "bad" because our current school system sucks.

There may be very understandable reasons for this perception, but greed is not the TRUE purpose of capitalism. The TRUE purpose of capitalism is ultimately about "serving the greater good of society."

So I am sure that you can imagine how "tickled pink" I was when I discovered, right as this website was being completed, that FLOW Co - Founders Michael Strong and John Mackey have just released a book on this very topic titled, "Be The Solution: How Entrepreneurs And Conscious Capitalists Can Solve The World's Problems."

Corporations pay public relations firms tens of millions of dollars for that type of branding. The 35,000 thank you emails from appreciative customers is what really touched my heart. The whole thing was such an amazing success for Denny's that they did it again in April, with the amended offer being that they were asking people to "pay their offer forward" by bringing in a friend for a Free meal! 

This now takes the focus of millions of people on that one day from receiving to Giving!

Howard Gardner is a Harvard Education Professor who has created seminars at several colleges to counsel students in the notion of pursuing meaningful, ethical and effective work, something that Gardner calls "Good Work".

Gardner notes that while the New Deal was built from ideas developed in the Progressive Era and the Reagan counter-revolution was the culmination of the conservative movement of the 1950s and 1960s, there presently is as yet no counternarrative in place to replace the "Money is king" philosophy which is the "Old Paradigm" narrative which caused the current economic crisis we are in.

As noted by New York Time's Columnist Frank Rich, no one is better placed or more philosophically suited than President Barack Obama to construct the "New Counternarrative" as we go forward into this new and emerging Paradigm. 

According to Rich, even at the Corporation, Citigroup, a technical analyst was moved to write a report in March of 2009 urging his peers to stop living in "denial" and recognize that we are witnessing the end of "25 to 30 years worth of excess."

The "new normal" in regard to lifestyle, wealth creation and profitability of companies, this analyst wrote,"maybe a shadow of the past." I found it highly amusing and appropriate that this analyst cited as the report's mantra the title of one of my most favorite songs by the 1980s Music Group, R.E.M., which is:

That song came out in 1987, 22 years ago...talk about prophetic!

But more importantly, I believe that this website attempts to resolve the problem raised by Harvard Professor Howard Gardner in offering what could very well turn out to be a "viable" piece in the "New Counternarrative" puzzle.

According to Gardner, as of April 2009, there is NO counternarrative in place to replace the "money is king" narrative which just "blew up" on us causing,"the end of the world as we know it." 

Needless to say, that "I feel fine" about the very exciting and real promise that The Secret Wealth Network holds as a potential part of that New Counternarrative that we as a society must create in order to move forward into this exciting New Era which awaits us.

August 2009 Update: This section is being added late in the game, right before this website is slated to launch because of an extremely important point that I wish to make about Conscious Business and insuring that you are not being deceived or "sold a bill of goods" by so called Conscious Business or "Enlightened Entrepreneur" Experts.

There has been a basic and important theme throughout this entire web page in regard to encouraging you to begin to look within and to follow your own authentic truth and calling, while thinking twice, or at the very least, using discernment before following so called Spiritual Leaders, Teachers, Gurus, or anyone else outside of yourself.

Part of how I have developed my own unique and personal wisdom in regard to this extremely important message, is based on my own personal observation, insight, and knowledge of one Spiritual Leader in particular, as I mentioned previously.

On this web page, I refer to him as the "Facebook Spiritual Leader" and this guy has been a gift to me in many ways, but one way he has been a gift is to help me to question and think about, via sharing on this web page, what Spirituality really and truly is and what it really and truly is NOT.

I know that this was the entire purpose of my experience and learning as a result of studying this person, and it's all for the greater good, so again, I want to make it clear that none of what I am documenting is based on me not respecting or liking this gentleman. Quite the contrary.

I believe that this gentleman is extremely gifted and is here to do great things for humanity as a WHOLE, at least that was the plan, but I also believe that he is now very much coming from Ego, not Spirit, and, as I stated my opinion earlier, is totally off the path of his true calling, and as a result of this, is in the process of seriously misleading and misguiding many people.

He is JUST ONE example of many "Spiritual Leaders, Gurus, etc" out there whom I believe are also misleading and misguiding people, so I don't want it to seem like I am just picking exclusively on him. 

This is all part of a much broader picture. It's simply based on communicating a much needed message via this website, and the Universe has chosen this specific Spiritual Leader for me to use as an example to utilize for the benefit of all. These are the cards that have been dealt. It's just all part of the plan.

And sharing that vital message requires me to be "brutally honest" in regard to any individual, whether I care for or like them or not, claiming to be enlightened, to have a map or a step by step plan for how to achieve liberation or enlightenment, or anything else which totally distorts, devalues or disempowers the TRUE nature of each and every unique person's individual and distinct spiritual nature aka "their own individual and authentic truth", particularly if it is crystal clear to me that a Spiritual Leader does not even have a step by step plan or map for liberation within his own life, much less anyone else's. Again, that's my humble opinion!

This is all based on my own unique wisdom and truth, or what I have personally discovered, which you can either choose to accept or reject. It truly makes no difference to me because the entire goal or point of this web page's message is to encourage you to seek YOUR OWN authentic truth from within, not from anyone outside of yourself, and that includes me. I am just here to make you think. And as a longtime advocate and researcher into the reality and sheer promise of the Conscious Business Model or Conscious Entrepreneurship, it is also my job, calling and purpose to "take down", expose, and to pull the cover off of anyone who promotes him or herself as being an "Enlightened Entrepreneur Expert", which is another name for a Conscious Business Expert, whom I have reason to believe is anything but one.

So, let the take down begin! 

Yesterday, the "Facebook Spiritual Leader" that I referenced above and throughout much of this website, sent a message to his Facebook profile about a Free Teleseminar that he was going to be guesting on that evening in regard to the topic of "Enlightened Entrepreneurship."

This excited me for two reasons. The first reason is because this guy was actually promoting something that he was personally affiliated with to the masses which was actually Free. I am very sad to say that, outside of his Church/Spiritual Center, (no one pays to attend church, at least not in person), it is not typical of him to give away anything. 

He even charges a monthly fee to access his monthly teleseminars and podcast downloads, and I know of tons of people who offer regular teleseminars and/or podcasts who charge absolutely nothing, and many of them are included within this website. 

As a matter of fact, I know of no other person who charges for their monthly podcasts and teleseminars, in or outside of the Spiritual Field. That does not mean that no other exists, it's just that I do not know of them.

The second reason I was excited was because it was on the topic of "Enlightened Entrepreneurship." As I already mentioned previously on this web page, I have created within this website the Conscious Business Portal, which is the largest, most extensive and the most diverse collection of Business tools and resources, of which the vast majority are 100% Free on the entire Internet.

There are 500+ valuable and extremely diverse Free tools and resources on that one web page all geared towards the specific topic of helping ANY business owner to prosper and succeed in his or her business.

So, I consider myself to be an "Expert" of sorts via my vast amount of research on this topic, not only for the past couple of years in regard to this website, but over much of my adult life, beginning when I was only 18 years old. 

The mentor that I had at that time, whom I make a dedication to at the end of this web page and whom I dedicate the Conscious Business Portal to, was someone whom I consider to have been a TRUE Conscious Business Pioneer. In my opinion, he invented and wrote the entire book on the topic.

Within the past couple of years, my knowledge on the topic has only deepened and intensified, so needless to say, when this Spiritual Leader promoted on Facebook a Free teleseminar dealing with the topic of Enlightened Entrepreneurship...he had my undivided attention.

I listened to the teleseminar with an open heart and an open mind, expecting to be really impressed with the presentation, but that definitely was NOT the case. There were immediate red flags. First, the woman who hosted the call, who as with everyone who I use as an example on this website, will remain unnamed, was someone whom I had never heard of.

Being an avid researcher into the topic of Conscious Business Entrepreneurship for several years now, I pretty much know of, or have at least heard of most of the players in the field, particularly those who are considered experts on the topic. Yet, I had never heard of this woman who was billing herself as a Conscious Business or Enlightened Business Expert.

Secondly, I don't recall her giving her full name on the call. I could have missed it but I don't recall hearing it, so while still on the call, I went to the website that she gave at the beginning of the call to check her out.

I had a difficult time finding her full name listed on her website. Not only did she predominently use only her first name throughout her website, but the short version of her first name. Like using Pam versus Pamela. The short version of her first name was prominently featured on her website, but I had to search to find her full name. I finally found the "About Us" page on her website where I finally saw it.

A HUGE red flag!

What expert in anything fails to give their full name, front and center and prominently throughout their website? For example, what if there are many guys named "George" who is an expert in Business Consulting? Or what if there are many women named "Nancy" who are experts in Interior Design?

It's a "no brainer" if you are in any business field, whether you are an expert or not, to put your full name prominently on and throughout your website. I mean, this is basic commonsense. Then this woman was so unprofessional during the call. She basically fawned all over the Facebook Spiritual Leader, like she was a nervous teenager.

I could go more into this aspect of the call, but I won't because it will sound too catty. What I will say however, is that this woman did not convey in the least, throughout this entire hour long teleseminar, that she knew a hill of beans about "Enlightened Entrepreneurship." From someone who does know a lot about the topic, it was really awful!

Now WHY does this matter? I'm sure up to this point it sounds like I am being critical or even maybe a little catty. My first question if that is your "take" is...would you think the same thing if I was speaking about a man? But the reason why this matters is because of what I soon discovered that the call was REALLY about.

It had nothing whatsoever to do with Enlightened Entrepreneurship, that is if you call this female host's constant school girl fawning over this Spiritual Leader, his giving his views on the meaning of 2012, and then his beautiful prayer at the end of the call in any way related to learning about the important topic of Enlightened Entrepreneurship.  

What this call was basically about was this woman selling something that she called a "Summit by the Sea" at what she claimed was to be an Enlightened Entrepreneurship Summit, learning step by step about Enlightened Entrepreneurship and how to market and profit in your business for $3000.00 per person. First, let's take care of the definition of the word "Summit."

Definition of a Summit - "A conference of the highest level officials."

"A conference or meeting of high-level leaders, usually called to shape a program of action."

Okay, there are two of the definitions for the word Summit. And who were these "high level leaders" or  "highest level officials" in the field of Enlightened Entrepreneurship that this woman was promoting at her "Summit by the Sea?" Oh just herself and the Spiritual Leader. 

Oh, I almost forgot, in the background there will also be the Spiritual Leader's partner as a backdrop for "healing musical inspiration." On the teleseminar call, the Spiritual Leader said that the music was extremely important to "anchor and set the tone."

Now, I know for a fact that this Spiritual Leader is NOT an "Enlightened Entrepreneur Expert." Far from it, and I think that this has already been made pretty obvious from what I have already written. So, in essence, this woman, whose website I had to search just to find her full name, was billing herself as an "Enlightened Entrepreneur Expert" with so much knowledge that she deemed to call her Gathering of One Expert, a full fledged "Summit."

First of all, how can it be a "Summit" if it is only one supposedly "high level" person, even if this woman really was a legitimate expert, which there is very strong reason to believe that she most definitely is not? And charging an astounding $3000.00 per person to attend for the weekend?

Unbelievable!

Did this woman go into anything besides the one sentence topics as to what would be covered during this "Summit?" No. Did her website at least go into detail about what exactly would be taught at this Summit by her? No. But she did mention the following as to what each Summit participant had to look forward to:

• Each participant's hotel room would be "energetically cleared" by a Master Team of Healers for powerful manifesting, even while sleeping!
• And each participant would be treated to energy healing and massage spa treatments!
• And, last but not least, she would be introducing her own private line of "Energy Balancing Spa Products", and her new deck of Oracle cards!

So, on that last point, not only will you have the privilege of spending $3000.00 for something that sounds to me, with the Spiritual Leader's input and the accompaning healing music thrown into the mix, like the equivalent of a "Spiritual Spa Weekend", but you also have the privilege of her trying to get more money out of you by hawking her spa products and orcale cards to you while you are there! And you better believe that the Spiritual Leader and his partner will also be hawking their products too, which is all part of the routine for them aka extremely typical.

Hey, sounds "spiritual" to me!

As a matter of fact, something else extremely typical in relation to this Spiritual Leader is being offered with this Summit. A private "VIP" Reception with the Spiritual Leader where you can have cocktails and, to quote from the website, "ask burning questions and take pictures!"

And get this, that "VIP" Reception is not even included in the $3000.00 price for the Summit...you have to pay an additional $157.00 to have drinks, take pictures with the Spiritual Leader and ask him "burning questions."

I am NOT making this up, and as I mentioned before, this "VIP Reception" nonsense and the like is very typical of this Spiritual Leader's entire routine. And it seems like none of the people attending these events ever question or think to ask....WHY?

Did I mention that this was promoted as an "Enlightened Entrepreneur Summit" which would teach you, step by step, how to be an Enlightened Entrepreneur and profit and succeed in your business?

I know that this is all humorous in a way. I was even giggling as I was writing it because it is so ridiculous that it's actually funny. But please let's not get away from the larger issue, which is what I personally see as this woman pretending to be something that she clearly is not, charging an incredible $3000.00 for it, and it all being done under the guise of Consciousness, Spirituality and Enlightenment, with this Spiritual Leader basically legitimizing this woman....at the expense of his own reputation, I might add! 

That's the REAL issue here, and that is what is being exposed as to what I believe is a total fraud. And the fact that this "Spiritual Leader", (in my opinion), was not smart or savvy enough to at least get his assistant to research this woman's credentials, and more than likely, could even be receiving a cut of the $3000.00 charged by her for her highly questionable "Summit", for his participation in what I personally believe is an absolute farce, is extremely saddening to me.

While at her website, I checked to see if this woman had anything published, in relation to books or publications offered at her website, to at least support her claim of being a Conscious Business or an Enlightened Entrepreneur Expert. There were NO books or publications found, and the only thing offered in relation to products for sale on her website when I visited was a set of "Intuition Oracle Cards."

There was absolutely nothing that I saw that in any way connected this woman to business expertise, enlightened or otherwise, on her website. That is unless you believe that someone who classifies themselves as being a "3rd Generation Spiritual Intuitive and Medium" is an Expert in business marketing and enterprise, enlightened or otherwise. Next I did a google search on her name...and I came up with absolutely nothing.

What type of "Expert" comes up with absolutely nothing in regard to their name on Google, except someone who is, more than likely, an Expert only in their own mind? Also, I went to Amazon.com to see if her name came up there in ANY aspect, Conscious Business or otherwise. Nothing!

October 2009 Update: Further down on this web page, I mention that I had forwarded a link to this still incomplete website to the Spiritual Leader which I use as an example on this web page in March of 2009. I said that I did not know if he had received the website link, but I just received confirmation, (of sorts), that he has.

It turns out that now the "Summit By The Sea" is not going to include a day long workshop with this Spiritual Leader, but just an evening lecture of just a couple of hours. And his part is now being billed as totally separate from the "Enlightened Entrepreneur" Event. That was NOT the way it was described on the teleconference call or on the website in August.

Other changes in the event include the price for it being reduced by half, and it now includes some meals. One thing that did not change however is that ridiculous "VIP Reception" idea.

I actually suspected that he had received my website link a while ago, because he has also all of a sudden stopped with the "celebrity photo" posting on Facebook, drastically dropped his posting of photos of himself, and seems to be more humble and displaying a lot less ego, at least on Facebook. We'll see how long it lasts. And let say again, this is ALL in my humble opinion!

I just have two things to say about these sudden changes.

First, very smart moves, particularly in regard to the "Summit", because it would have definitely come back to haunt him if it would have stayed as before.

Secondly...WOW! This website is already having an impact and it has not even been launched yet!

What a great omen to receive from the Universe right before it's actual launch!

I have made it very clear via the very nature of this website that I truly believe that Conscious Business Entrepreneurship is a HUGE and vital part of this emerging New Paradigm. I even have a quote that I came up with on my "Conscious Business Portal" web page which I believe is a solid prediction for the very near future:

That is because they will be the Creators, Builders and Innovators of this emerging New Paradigm, meaning that as the Old crumbles, Conscious Business Entrepreneurs will be simultaneously creating the New. This is very serious business and there is no place for pretenders or frauds.

I firmly believe that it will be businesses and organizations who operate in "Consciousness" meaning for the good of the Whole aka humanity, who will create this emerging New Paradigm and New Era which we are now moving into.

Many business people, old and new, are being called to operate in a more service oriented, giving and conscious manner and will be looking for guidance and expertise from experts in this very new and emerging field.

That is exactly WHY the "Conscious Business Portal" was created to provide that much needed expertise and guidance for either Free or at a very low cost. I knew that Conscious Business Entrepreneurs and Organizations were THAT important at this very critical time in human history.

So, when I see someone who is so obviously NOT a Conscious Business Expert come along claiming that she is and charging $3000.00 for her supposed expertise, I knew I had to first spotlight and then seriously question and debunk the possible fraud. I then had to give a clear and a compelling example of what a TRUE Conscious Business Expert really is.

You would think that people would do the research on their own, but I have found out, particularly while living in Los Angeles County, that many good hearted and spiritually seeking people are unfortunately very easily "hoodwinked" and taken advantage of.

But, I must also add that this is something that these people are ultimately responsible for themselves, because many people fail to think for themselves or ask important questions. The simple remedy is to stop "allowing" yourselves to be "hoodwinked." 

I have always felt that I was being divinely guided, particularly while creating this website, and this particular incident is just one incident within a long line of incidents that have happened to make me feel this way. By the way, when you are "on purpose" and fulfilling your life's mission and calling, you too will feel as if you are being divinely guided. It's one of the tell-tell signs.

Anyway, the reason why I mention about feeling divinely guided is that on the exact SAME DAY that I listened to that highly questionable teleseminar call, supposedly on the topic of Enlightened Entrepreneurship, I discovered what I consider to be the ULTIMATE example of TRUE Enlightened Entrepreneurship. Just hours before the call, I had stumbled across the Craigslist Foundation's Non Profit Bootcamp.

This is an annual day long bootcamp that has been going on since 2004. The Bootcamp teaches and educates Conscious Business Entrepreneurship for Businesses and Non-Profits. It was created by the CEO and Creator of Craigslist, Craig Newmark. This bootcamp has drawn more than 10,000 passionate people all interested in "Being The Change" since it began in 2004.

How much does it cost to attend? Just $75.00!

The $75.00 fee includes breakfast and lunch plus access to 24 workshops, keynote addresses, their Exhibitor Plaza, and the chance to participate in networking and collaboration with hundreds of emerging and established community leaders and social activists. It usually draws about 1500 people annually, so that's a lot of networking potential! 

*I just have to note that for the same cost of the "VIP Reception" with the Spiritual Leader at the "Summit" for probably no more than an hour to "take pictures with him and ask him burning questions", you AND a friend or partner could attend this all day one of a kind event...and still have $7.00 left over for parking! I just thought that I would mention that!

And, if that was not amazing enough, the Bootcamp records all of the workshops, panel discussions and keynote speeches and releases them as a Free Podcast for everyone around the world who wishes to view, study and learn from them!

I have to tell you that when I found this Podcast Series yesterday, and realized the very real ramifications for humanity in giving anyone who desired it 24 hour access to dozens of amazing workshops, speakers and panels to study, learn and experience from and to make their Social Entrepreneur, Non Profit or Conscious Business dream and creation come true, for the good of humanity, I was extremely moved.

Craigslist CEO and Founder, Craig Newmark may not be known as, labeled, or seen by people as a "Spiritual Leader" but he is, in my opinion, a shining example of what it TRULY means to be not only conscious, but also to be spiritual. And he is a leader in the truest sense of the word.

This one lone endeavor of his could change the course of history and help to improve the lives of hundreds of millions of people by simply freely providing the tools and resources from some of the top experts in the field on how to create, innovate and shape this New Paradigm.

I don't think he could possibly understand the implications of what his workshops and podcast series could have on humanity as a whole, particularly now that it has been spotlighted on the The Secret Wealth Network's main web page, in relation to using it as an example of TRUE Enlightened Entrepreneurship.

And there lies the divinely guided reason for the totally unexpected "Enlightened Entrepreneur" teleseminar call yesterday, to give me the idea and a great excuse to spotlight the totally unexpected discovery, on the SAME day no less, of Craigslist Foundation's Bootcamps on this website's main web page. Previously, I was only going to mention and include it on the Conscious Business Portal.

The ONLY reason it is now being featured on this main web page is because of that teleseminar call, again, promoted by the Facebook Spiritual Leader, which, in my opinion, represented and illustrated the exact opposite of "Enlightened Entrepreneurship."

My grandmother use to always say that God, (or The Universe, Source, Spirit, etc.), works in mysterious ways...and she was most definitely right!

One more thing about Craig Newmark, Craigslist Foundation also played a role in the creation of the wonderful non-profit organization "All For Good." To quote from their website:

"Inspired by the call of President Obama to engage more Americans in service, a group of individuals from the technology, marketing and public sectors came together to build an open source application that allows you to find and share volunteer activities. All For Good lets you browse activities and find events based on your location or interests."

So, this group of Conscious Business Entrepreneurs got together to create an Online Service Portal to hook people up from around the nation to engage in service or volunteer opportunities in their local areas. Yep, just like I said, "the Conscious Business Entrepreneur is the NEW Guru!"

To be totally honest, Conscious Business Entrepreneurship is part and parcel of what I believe Spirituality really and truly is. Spirituality to me is serving full out, giving full out, and living from your own authentic TRUTH via utilizing your divinely inspired purpose and gifts for the benefit of others. And the "Spirit" of Conscious Entrepreneurship is represented more so on this very website than on any other place on the internet.

Craigslist Foundation's Bootcamps represents just ONE out of more than 3000 tools and resources that is being freely given away by thousands of Conscious Business Entrepreneurs from all over the planet. I was truly shocked and moved by all of these conscious and giving individuals. I still find it hard to wrap my mind around their overwhelming generosity.

The question is...WHY?

Well, most give without any explanation as to why they are giving. Some are giving in support of a special promotion that I found and participated in so I could give it to you guys, but for the most part, most just gave with no reason or explanation.

I receive new Free products to add to this website every single day. Interestingly, one really fabulous Free product that I found in my email box just this morning includes an answer to the question of WHY give this product away.

Since this explanation was very rare and I knew that I was going to be writing about this very topic today, I, of course, concluded that I was intended to give this Amazing Giver's explanation as an example of the Consciousness of most of the other Amazing Givers on this website.

The "Amazing Giver's" name is David Hooper. David is an author and Law of Attraction Expert who has been featured in hundreds of media outlets including The Wall Street Journal, the Chicago Tribune, MTV.com, and many more.

*And just so you know that I am being fairer than fair, as soon as I used the word "Expert", I went and googled "David Hooper Law Of Attraction" and came up with almost 7000 hits for his name. And this guy is extremely impressive!

When I did the same thing and googled the "$3000 Summit" woman's name and the title "Enlightened Entrepreneur", without even including the word "Expert", I came back with her website, which I already had, her Twitter address and her Facebook page...and that's it!
